Hello, my friend, great to hear from you, mmmh, I've not read that book. I do not know of any passage in the Bible that explicitly says this. But it does say God knows our thoughts, etc. The devil knows our identity and destiny. E.g., the devil recognized Jesus as the Son of God even before his own disciples. The devil sows thoughts into our mind and heart. Even though the devil has excellent knowledge of our lives, he can do nothing because Jesus shields us, ( I wish I could elaborate more, but I'm just not familiar with the author and where he’s coming from).
