Just an update
Hi all, Just wanted to let you know what’s going on after my last post. Luckily I did not have a vertebral artery dissection even though two scans suggested one. It looks more like something physiological or functional is happening, but I’m glad it’s not my arteries so I can get back to jumping rope! I plan on starting at a lower level again to get back into things :) Does anyone have any suggestions for animal movement and calisthenics YouTube’s I can follow that aren’t too long please?? I’m so grateful I don’t have to make adjustments for an artery dissection as that would have meant never jumping rope or going upside down!!
Bad news
Hi everyone, I’m going to have to take a long break from calisthenics. A week and a bit ago I suffered a vertebral artery dissection and it will take at least three months to recover from and I have to stop doing calisthenics or any weight lifting while it heals.
Training week??
Today I did rounds 3 of: Tricep dips x10 Bridges x12 Raised leg crunches x12 Plank 20secs Full push ups x2 And then some jumping rope

@Orfeas Onasis it’s both! I have joint instability and faulty collagen so it affects pretty much every part of my body. Unfortunately I don’t feel that I’ve gone too far until the next day :/ I’ve torn ligaments and broken bones and still been walking around like nothing happened until a day or two later a few times.
Too many breaks!
Hi all, starting a new med has really thrown me but I’m determined to get back into a routine because I feel weaker after resting so much, even though I have been jumping rope most days still. Today I did 3 rounds of: Knee push ups with push up bars x7 Horizontal pull ups on the ground x7 Hollow body holds x16secs Lying leg raises x8 Deep squats x10
Getting back into it
Hi all! I’ve been awol because I started a new med And it’s had a pretty severe side effect of fatigue ending up in me having to have day time naps (which I’ve never been able to do even willingly before!). I’ve been jumping rope on and off and my best in a row is now 119 :D Today I did 2 rounds of: Plank to forward bend slides? X6 Knee push ups x10 Tricep dips x10 Deep squats x7 I also did a few hip flexor stretches
