Retention governance requires key stakeholders involvement to give insight on a Records logistical methodology and value as an asset. R.O.T. should be a regular call to action for all to eliminate clutter, decrease waste spacially and financially, and align to a single source of truth model for data integrity. It's about being open to uncomfortable conversations, teaching stewardship, managing expectations, and advocating for the best practices in information management.
