How many writing projects do you have that haven't been finished.
I have about 20 projects (books and articles) started or sketched out but not finished, which beggs the question, Why am I doing a second edition on anything? The answer is that I looked at it and saw that it needed it. It's like an old car. Either it looks good but doesn't work well, needing a tune up, or it runs well but doesn't look good, needing a paint job. In either case, it needed something, so it was either junk it or get it road ready, so I chose the latter. How many unfinished projects do you have waiting in the wings while you work on "the one"?

@Zane Dowling that means so much thankyou.
As we head into the weekend, how many of you will be writing?
I will probably be writing at least a little over the weekend. Well it's technincally editing, but I found a place in my first book that needs a rewrite to make better sense. Logic is a necessary thing even in Fantasy Fiction.

I have decided to work on my own poetry book. I want it to be a little different. Have the idea the image and poems .. but I have no idea about the disclaimers or what is supposed to be in it?? So I have a task on my hands.
What is your favorite thing to write about or use in your writing?
We all have our got to things in life. What is the one thing that can't help but creap into the things you write? Do you know yourself enough to pick out that one thing that always shows up in your writing? For myself, I think it its certain words like, nevertheless, still (as in yet, which is another word), and 'That being said'. In some ways, I think it must be because of my faith in God that there is a Christian theme in my first book, which is acatually Fantasy Fiction. You may be able to pick up on a salvation allegorie in my first book even though I hadn't planned it.

I write about everything. I particularly like to cast a different perspective or direction of image or thought. Create feelings that are overlooked. Sometimes it's about what is there in front of our eyes but often taken for granted or overlooked. Maybe it's just me I see and think different. I love it when humour shapes a poem aswell. I have so many amazing pieces unshared. I think what I have shown so far is nothing close to my unshared work x
When you're a writer, does when you write, feel like writing to you?
It shouldn't. Think about it. When you read something does it feel like you're simply reading stuff? Or, does the story come to life in your mind? That is how your writing should feel. As you are writing, your mind should be playing it out like a movie, so that the reader can read it that way. You should see the actions of the scenes and make the words come out that way. This may seem like a no-brainer but if you want to become known for your writing, you have to write the way you see things in your head. Now, here comes the tricky part. Read your own writing and if it doesn't flow like a scene from a movie, or feel like you are reading a movie script, you need to rewrite it. Remember, if a picture is worth a thousand words and you are a writer not a director, your 1000 words need to paint a picture. So, make it a moving picture and you will have a masterpiece. Your thoughts?

Most of the time I have to run and grab a pen quick. I don't think I just write. Other times I like to research, extend my vocabulary or even play around with words. Poetry, stories, quotes, verses just fall in to my mind. A lot of what I write I like to leave as it is as that the way I wish it to be heard. Other times I'll add or merge 2individual poems together. I have no control. The mind such a powerful tool xx
