Hi, Everyone! I'm Dr. Melissa Oden and I am the CEO of Dr. Melissa Oden Coaching & Consulting. I am also the founder of The Adjunct Collective, a place for Adjunct Professors, Lecturers, and Instructors to receive the support and professional development that they typically don't get from their universities. I, myself, am an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Health at the University of Texas at Arlington. I have been teaching for 15 years and for 13 of those I have been an Adjunct, so I know that pitfalls and joys of being in that role. I live in Fort Worth, Texas with my 8-year-old orange tabby, Oliver, who is also my "office assistant" and Chief Morale Officer. I'm excited to be here and look forward to learning from and interacting with all of you!
