I write my feelings and express my traumas in my books I write.
Thank you for following me, when I saw your profile I had to meet you. I'm an author, I have had many traumas in my life time. When I write I let out the feelings I feel with the traumas I experienced and slowly brings me peace if that makes sense? 😊

Anxiety
This piece was done for a young man to show him the reality of his anxiety, Very descriptive, purposefully so he could relate to it on a physical level. By doing so he felt understood in a way he didn’t think he could be. Not because no one else feels it, but because he had never spoken so precisely about such feelings to anyone. Let’s just say it made him comfortable enough to open up a wider conversation. It helped - and now he can look back at this piece and re trigger the positive outcome that came from it.

My youngest daughter suffer with anxiety, wanted someone with her all the time when she was younger. At age 21 she shocked me, going on buses and trains on her own, so proud of her. She still finds somethings difficult to cope with, she has got better than she was.

Behind the mirror
Sometimes I feel I’m out - Looking in, At this person trying to fit in. Seeing so much bullshit, So much wrong, Staring at a person that doesn’t belong. Even my reflection catches my eye, A look out of place, Sometimes I don’t even recognise my face. All I know momentarily shaken, I feel like I’m about to waken. I wish I had the freedom to find my truth, The time to try, To know if what’s real is really a lie, To finally understand the reasons why - Life is fleeting, And then we die.

Our life is a story, beginning, middle and end our beginning is being born, learning about love through the people that brings us up, learning to walk and do all the things we take for granted. Joining groups and schools, learning to make Friends and making bonds, have fights, fall in love. During our journey, making our own story, we're meeting people for a reason along the way, we learn from them just as they learn from us. We can make our story miserable or we can make it unforgettable with no regrets. When we pass on, our story lives on through the the people we leave behind, they become our story tellers.

Format … Does all poetry rhyme and make sense .
No - the truth is there are no boundaries, no expectations and no requirements. It could be one word or a hundred verses. Written in the first or second or even third person perspective. The point is to get the thoughts out of your head. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks, most people interpret the same piece of writing in a hundred different ways. Some find it easier to write empathetically whilst others only right from their own experience. Don’t over think it - just do it.
