Everyone paints their interpretation of THE theme. THE theme, we are going to choose together in the poll below. Then we are going to paint the winning theme. Then the paintings are displayed side by side. You can make as many paintings with this theme as you like. The fun part is seeing how differently people think about the exact same theme. It feels a bit like a mini art exhibition and gives everyone a chance to explain their ideas. Is this clear ? 😅 if you have questions let me know. I'm Melissa, from regional NSW, Australia and I am very much a work in progress. I used to make art. Then life happened — years of it — and I just... stopped. I'm a homeschooling mum, a foster carer for cats and kittens and so much more... Somewhere in all of that, the creative part of me quietly packed her bags and left. Then my daughter started creating the most incredible dark fantasy artwork — seriously, this girl is something else — and watching her has made me realise how much I miss making things. So here I am. A little lost, a little rusty, and genuinely unsure who I am as an artist anymore. But curious enough to find out. About that hallo... I noticed our host is Dutch, which genuinely made me smile — my dad, my auntie, and my opa and oma are all Dutch. So I figure that's a sign I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be. 🌷 Really looking forward to being part of this community and figuring out who I am creatively — one messy, imperfect piece at a time. Which, come to think of it, feels very responsibly messy of me. 😊
