Still. Not empty.
We've been taught that productivity is noise. Keep moving. Stay busy. If you're not producing, you're falling behind. But what if the most powerful thing you could do today ...right now .. is stop? Not to check out or escape. But instead to actually arrive at the destinations Sooner and more efficient. Most of us are physically present and mentally everywhere else. We're in the room but we're running simulations , replaying yesterday, rehearsing tomorrow, never actually here (I'm sure we can see the same in those around us) Contrary to popular belief, Meditation isn't about clearing your mind. It's about watching your mind. Learning its patterns. Seeing what it reaches for when it's uncomfortable. That's self-knowledge. And self-knowledge is the beginning of real balance and flow in every area of your life. The Psalmist didn't say "figure it out." He said be still, and know. You can't hear clearly in chaos. You can't build according to the vision when being pulled left and right by reaction. The still moments aren't a break from the work. THEY ARE THE WORK! "In the rush and noise of life, as you have intervals, step within yourselves and be still." - William Penn "Be still, and know that I am God." - Psalm 46:10 How often do you actually sit in silence, not consuming, not scrolling, just present? (be Honest) What comes up when you do? What are you usually feeling in those quiet moments? You all do a great job in being thorough and transparent with your replies. im looking forward to hearing your responses!

When you typed “Contrary to popular belief, Meditation isn't about clearing your mind. It's about watching your mind. Learning its patterns. Seeing what it reaches for when it's uncomfortable. Servitude Is The Name Of The Game!
The topic of financial freedom is mentioned A great amount in today's world, and although I believe it to be more beneficial to center our focus on the things we desire for honest and upright reason, it doesn't negate that we must deal with currency in one form or another. Contrary to popular belief You don’t need a full business yet, you just need to know how you serve others. I found it easiest to start here. 1. What do you know? 2. Who needs it? 3. How can you present it simply?

1. I don’t know much I have to be taught everything outside of my element. I have a degree I don’t use with a security background. I worked in hospitality as a cleaner/organizer. 2. Anyone who is disorganized and/or very busy would appreciate help with getting items and/or files arranged properly and reminders for meetings/appts/reservations 3. I don’t know how to simplify, I never liked presentations growing up. When I was a little girl, I wanted to be an Actress and then I thought maybe a Physicians Assistant and did nether of the 2. Parents said no to acting and I couldn’t pass the classes for the medical field nor understand the info.

@Chapatz Israel lol 🤭 I literally want to be a stay at home mom and wife. I want to be present for my future kids and spouse and capture all the first experiences and document the memories for the family generation. Nobody does family trees anymore and people forget things over time. Make meals from scratch, I’m not the best cook now but I wouldn’t go hungry 😅 Watch all my friends kids so they can travel, have date night, rest, spa day and so they wouldn’t have to spend on daycare where applicable.
Confused or Conditioned? 🗡️
I've in dealt with the feeling of knowing I was meant for more yet didn't know exactly when was the right time or what was the right area to step into. Over the years with those I've had close as friends or those I've counseled I've seen a common characteristic . Most are struggling with the lack of courage or believe in one area or another to fully step into what they already know inside of them. I'd love to discuss, What is something you KNOW you’re supposed to be building … but haven’t fully committed to and why?

I don’t know what I’m supposed to be building 😪 I’m not a builder, I’m the behind the scenes person that helps whoever is the face/leader/front lines I don’t like the limelight/spotlight/center stage - I don’t want my name or face to be known, I like the shadows, out of sight out of mind. All I want is to be a stay at home mom and wife, I’m not career driven 😪
FEED THE SPIRIT !
We wake up everyday to tend to the flesh, we brush our teeth, wash our faces, do our hair, BUT we’re not tending to the inner man! We are a soul, we only live in a body! Take some time today to think on what brings you internal JOY! What makes your spirit light up? One of the best ways to do this is to think back to the child in you! What does the inner child enjoy?

I’m unsure of my internal joys, I’ve lived in survival mode for so many years when I left home. Once the sunny days began to appear I felt a twinge of excitement and going to the park has been fun to get my steps in and fresh air. My inner child always enjoyed spending time with friends and going for a drive. - Adult me prefers calm quiet mornings and minimal interactions with others
