@Carla Mitchell, yes, my life is very busy; that is one reason I decided to take this course. I want to learn all the ins and outs of becoming a dispatcher for our hotshot company so I can say goodbye to my full-time job. Yes, I already dispatch for our company, but I'm not looking at the load boards like a dispatcher. I want to look at them like a dispatcher and take on a couple of other carriers. I want to work for our company, but I would like to still have my independence. I am also looking to add highland cows to my ranch, which will be more work. I have ADHD and can't sit still. I do not take anything for it, so I use it to my advantage and get things done. 😂 How is the course going for you?

@Clara Russell, my full-time job is from 9-6. I get up between 4-5 and that is when I clean and get things done in my house and do laundry. I will also start looking at the load boards for our company. I work from home with my full-time job. I watch the load boards throughout the day and might have to do the carrier packets sometimes throughout the day. Sometimes it's a challenge. My ranch is my therapy. I love being outside in the pasture with my cows. I can't wait to get my highland cows. Right now I have two 5-month-old calves that I love spending time with. When I get off work, I go out to take care of the cows and our pig and horse. When I get done with all that, I come in and take care of supper, kitchen, and finishing up the evening, lately working on my book. I usually go to bed around 10:30-11. My granddaughter just helps me out here and there while she is here, or she is playing while I am working. She goes home on the weekends. It probably helps that I have ADHD and I do not take anything for it.

One thing we as a carrier, we own a hotshot business, are running into with a 30ft trailer with mega ramps is what most are calling partial loads are partial loads for 40ft or larger. That means their not paying much since it's a partial. It is a huge challenge to find a good paying load.

Good morning @Marie Richardson ! I understandwhen you say you have been working so much you hardly have been able to get get on here. I have been doing the same thing between my regular 40 hour paying job at a telemed company, owr hotshot business that I have become the dispatcher/admin for, our ranch, I have our granddaughter for the summer, then not that that wasn't enough on my plate; I decided to write a book. I have it finished. Now just proofreading. I was Icould help with your question about computers but I don't know anything about them. Just really wanted to say hi and your not a lone! Good luck with getting though the course and starting a new chapter in your life!
