How to book back-to-back loads 2. How to book loads out for the week 3. How to negotiate a load For fun, I like to do these 3 things: 1.  I like to spend time with my grandkids👩‍👦‍👦 2. I like to spend time with my cows🐄 3.  I like to ride motorcycles and go to the beach🏍️🏖️

@Logan Whitewood congratulations!!! Just something I recently came across while taking over my husband's office for his hotshot business, make sure you are always DOT compliant no matter what and you have a DOT binder you carry in your truck at all times. It's best to have everything in order and on hand if and when you do a DOT inspection. If you don't know the answer research everything. Make sure if you are running non-cdl pay attention to you weight but also the length of you truck and trailer together.
New to dispatching
Hey everyone, my name is Asia, and I’m new to the community. I’m pretty familiar with the trucking industry, as I worked in Progressive Commercial Lines for the past 4 years. Just last week, I made the decision to walk away from my job and take control of my life to finally become the main character in my own story. Over the past few months, I’ve spent a lot of time researching dispatching, learning the industry, and preparing myself to take this leap of faith into entrepreneurship. I’ve already established my LLC, registered for my EIN, and mapped out my business plan. At this point, I’m focused on gaining the skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience needed to build a successful and trustworthy dispatching business. This journey means a lot more to me than just starting a company. I’m dedicating this business to my grandfather, who passed away 4 years ago ironically not too long after I started working at Progressive. He was a truck driver himself, and I truly believe pursuing this path, building a legacy for my family, and honoring his memory would make him proud. I’m excited to connect, learn, grow, and network with others in the industry. Looking forward to this new chapter and everything that comes with it.

@Asia Hopkins welcometo the community! Keep the energy and positive mindset going and great things will come your way. I was also close with my granfather. He has been gone 21 years now. He always had cows and maybe that is way I have cows now and love spending time with them. Good luck on your new chapter in life and congratulations on the new little one on the way. They grow up so fast.

@Stefanie Dixson welcometo the community! I also have 6 grand babies and love to ride motorcycles. Where is the best place you have been on the motorcycle? Do you own your own motorcycle or do you just ride? Where was the last exciting place you rode too?
