This is an attempt in oil. I tend to over-blend so this time I tried really hard to lay a stroke and leave it alone. I like the direction it is going but got frustrated with the background. I see artists like Harley Brown and Jeffrey Watts do such chromatic blobs of color in the background but I keep making a mess, trying to find those complements. Thank you!
