Hey y’all, here’s a little video showing how I make a cob mix, using a leaf shredder to shop the straw. I show the electrical wires being put into the structure which will be covered in an earthen planter. Also featured is the sandy flour paste mixture I put on the smooth plywood around the round door to make the cob grab to the wood better. It’s kind of a long one, hope you don’t mind!

This is the space I cleared for the sauna! I am going to rewatch the sauna video. One thing I’ll need clarity on is the exact spacing of the 9 4x4s. And perhaps some advice on how to make sure they’re level… Also, I was so inspired to hear Miguel say that he only works on projects with locally milled lumber. We use all locally milled lumber or recycled pallets on our building projects, or bamboo! I was depressed thinking I was going to need to buy lumber for my sauna until I found this platform!! I do have one question/concern: I’m not sure our lumber is as “dimensional” as purchased lumber. How do I manage boards that may have a slight curvature to them? Thx so much I appreciate you all so much! I am so stoked!!!!!
