Good morning and Happy Sunday!
I’m usually an early bird because I’m up around 4am on weekdays to get ready for our 6am Be Great Morning sessions with our lovely Suzzie. So when my body naturally woke up at 4:30am on a Sunday, my unconscious mind immediately kicked off: “Grrrr… it’s the weekend! You should be sleeping in… you deserve a lie-in… just stay in bed!” Sound familiar? Then I caught myself and thought… where did that belief even come from? This idea that weekends = rest, lie-ins, entitlement, “that’s just what we do”. It’s exactly the kind of unconscious belief we talk about inside Between Friends — the little stories our brain runs on autopilot that keep us stuck without realising it. So instead of fighting it, I chose to see waking up early today as a gift. No rushing. No obligations. Just quiet. I meditated, stretched, hydrated, journaled, and now I’m sat here reading in the beautiful stillness of the early morning with a hot coffee. And honestly… what a gift. Ever notice how your brain always tries to find the problem first? Awareness of that pattern is your first real power. 💪✨ Wishing you all the most gorgeous Sunday. Enjoy the day, ladies 😘💛
Good morning and Happy Sunday!
Be Great Morning – Catch the Moment of Hesitation! 💪
Yesterday, you turned the 5 second rule it into a tool — you acted, moved, and shifted energy. But today… we’re going to notice the EXACT MOMENT that tries to stop you because if you can catch your hesitation, you can change your habit.... often an UNCONSIOUS habit! What Does Hesitation Look Like? It’s not always loud or obvious. Here are a few ways hesitation sneaks in 👇 💡 Everyday Delays - “I’ll start after a coffee.” - “I’ll just scroll for a minute first.” - “I’ll go to the gym tomorrow.” 💡 Confidence Blocks - “What if I look silly?” - “I’ll speak up next time.” - “I’m not ready yet.” 💡 Perfection Traps - “It’s not ready yet.” - “Once things calm down, I’ll start.” - “I just need to fix one more thing.” 💡 Emotional Avoidance - “I’ll talk to them another day.” - “Now’s not a good time.” - “It’s fine — I’ll just keep quiet.” 💡 Overthinking Spirals - “Should I? Shouldn’t I?” - “What if it doesn’t work?” - “I’ll think about it later.” Every single one of these is a moment of hesitation — and that’s where your power lives. That’s your cue to count 5-4-3-2-1… and move! woo-hooo! So, YOUR ACTION for today - Spot EVERY 'hesitation' today if you can.... spot WHERE it appears for you - at work, in the mornings, when its related to health, money, with friends or relationships? Remember, they are SNEAKY, they disguise themselves as 'normal thoughts' that are unconscious. AWARENESS is YOUR POWER! Awareness and spotting PATTERNS. How are you going to move through each one today? Lets see if you can apply 5-4-3-2-1!

This Morning’s Be Great Workshop – Turning the 5 Second Rule into a Tool
Ladies, this morning we flipped things around — and you did the work! 🙌 Instead of just learning about the 5 Second Rule, we turned it into what Mel Robbins designed it to be — a tool for action! You took time to reflect, journal, and get honest about where your hesitation is holding you back… and how you can start using the rule to change that.💪 Here’s what we reflected on together: 1️⃣ Where in your life do you hesitate — even when you already know what you need to do? 2️⃣ What’s one area where you feel stuck or frustrated, waiting for the “right time” or “right feeling”? 3️⃣ What’s one small action you’ve been putting off that you could start with a 5-4-3-2-1, go? 4️⃣ When hesitation hits, what story do you tell yourself that stops you? 5️⃣ And… what could change if you acted instead of overthinking? If you didn’t get time to finish these in the session — take a few quiet minutes today to journal them through. Your answers hold the key to your next breakthrough. Your Be Great Focus for Today - - Gratitude: What gives you the strength or motivation to act today? - Affirmation: I act before my brain holds me back. - Take Action: Use the 5 Second Rule at least once today — and share in the comments or group where you used it! Every time you use the rule, you’re building courage. Every time you act instead of hesitating, you’re strengthening confidence. You don’t need to feel ready — you just need to count down and move! Keep using the rule today, and let’s see where it takes you. YOU ARE AWESOME!💥 Suzzie and Mel x #Children In Need Fundraising #betweenfriends
