700+ Registrations! Here is how!
Hey BPC! We now have over 700 registrations for our 9th Annual New Year New You Conference. And I want you to understand how we got here. For the past few months, weāve been in the DMs dailyāsending 30ā50 personal messages a day inviting people to the event (plus weāve run ads). Just to put that in perspective: 30 messages a day for one month is 900 messages. Weāve been doing this consistently since November. Do we get left on read? Yes. Do some people say theyāre not interested? Yes. Do some people say theyāll register and never do? Yes. But the key is your numbers and your consistency. Sending DM invites is one of the easiest ways to pack an event, because most people you message donāt even know you have an event, no matter how many times you post it. Think about itāhow many people do you follow online? Do you see every single post they make? No. Thatās why the DM matters. Another bonus: when you DM someone and they respond, it often warms up the algorithm, and they start seeing more of your content. Bottom line: for every event we doāvirtual or in-personāwe send messages. This is literally how I built my coaching business before I even had a CRM. Now that we have a CRM with thousands of qualified leads, we can invite people faster and follow up smarter. One more thing: just because you have 700 registrations doesnāt mean 700 will show up. In most cases, if you donāt follow up, you can expect about one-third to actually attend (in-person or virtual can vary, but follow-up still matters). Thatās why we follow up with registrants 5ā7 times before the eventāusing text and email. With a CRM, you can also send ringless voicemail/voice drops, and we did that the other day by leaving voice messages for everyone who registered. You can also tag people on Instagram posts and use other reminders. So donāt assume that because someone registered, theyāre automatically coming. Follow-up is what gets people in the room. If this helped you, drop a comment.
