How to interact with opposite gender?
This question always comes to my mind. how much interaction with opposite gender will not make me sinful. like i work in hospital,i see in offices as colleagues people are joking around, but i feel it is sinful to joke with opposite gender.and i also see they sit in cafe and have lunch together. . and if someone shows sort of interest in you,and then how should i approach that? i know wisdom would say that he should talk to my parents but parents involvement here would mean final decision. . should i have a basic conversation at public cafe or phone and see where things go or should i simply decline the request? as i feel its betrayal to my deen and to what Allah commands? i don't know if i was able to convey my thoughts. . usually i am very reserved and try my best to avoid free mixing and joking around with opposite gender at work and try to keep quiet most of the time. . but still you have to talk sometimes and even get help in things.

✨ Your Story Is Not a Disadvantage
Not every past defines your future. One sister shared, “I thought my background would hold me back.” The right man won’t use your past against you.. he’ll honor your growth. What Allah has written for you will not miss you. Do you ever struggle with feeling “not enough”? 🤍

@Nadiah Bonnin Absolutely! Everything happens for a reason! Duaa is your most powerful weapon, and Allah SWT is the Al-Baseer (the All-Seeing). He knows your circumstance.
Has anyone used the app In Pairs? 🍐
Asalamalaykum sisters, Has anyone used the match making app In Pairs? If so, could someone please share their experience about it? Thank you! 😊

I have tried it before. I didn't like it. I selected the pool to be a masjid community that was closest to me. I actually like the Salaam app better than Inpairs.

AA! Why is there is waitlist when registration is not required?
Mental Health and marriage readiness.
Assalamu Aleykum sisters! This might be a bit of a dump so brace yourselves. The more I dive into marriage topics, courses and videos, I realize there's much I need to fix before I am ready to marry. I see these amazing sisters doing so much work and growing Allahumma Bareek, but it's making me doubt myself. Chronic fatigue is the main culprit that causes me to struggle to even complete the simplest daily tasks. I am scared for my future as I have no idea what I want with my life (currently a student) and it's eating away at me. Does anyone relate, have any insights or a nice word to share? May Allah bless you all <3

I can definitely relate to this! I also realized I have so much emotional healing I need to work before I say "I do". You're not alone in this journey. Have you ever tried DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy)? There's a bunch of helpful youtube videos on dbt.

I’ve been reading a book called “Ghosted and Breadcrumbed: Stop falling for unavailable men & get smart about healthy relationships” by Dr. Marni Feuerman. I highly recommend this. There’s a really good chapter where the author breaks down examples of red flags, green flags, and yellow flags. I almost done reading the book and I am glad I read it.
