Since starting this course, my Substack publication has completely turned around. Before, I was writing decent content and would get genuinely good feedback from several of my subscribers. But there was no framework for my publication. I thought I had a target audience; but honestly, I wasn't writing to them. Because I wasn't teaching them anything...simply giving good stories. In any event, what really helped me was defining my 3 long-term goals from Module 1, which in turn, helped me actually anchor my publication so that all of my writing points to the same end goal every single week. All that to say, I sold my first e-book today which is the first product of this new framework! And actually, it was an e-book that I was giving away as a freebie on my Gumroad page. My subscriber still gave a $20 offering even though it was free! He commented on my latest article about how excited he was that I was taking my publication in this new direction and how much of a blessing he thought it would be for his mom. He asked which of my 2 freebies would be best for her since he didn't want to overload her with a ton of reading. I told him which one and why, and he purchased it right then!

An obstacle right now could cost you 2 months of progress. I made the mistake of repeating the same one for 6 months… and I’m only fixing it now. The good news? Where exactly do we start with that. What downloaded for me was almost 300 pages. How exactly should we use this each day?

Today something pretty crazy happened to me. One of my subscribers wrote thsi comment under one of my posts and left me speechless. I find it to be incredibly touching and motivating so was thinking that it would be a great time to share it here and see who else has had great feedback from their audience recently, or has achieved something important to them! Thanks for this William. I've heard of time-blocking before, and even tried it in the past, but it didn't work. But I really like the way you frame it in Module 1, by first naming the required things you have to do (like work and sleep!). I'm on my second day of trying it, and it's going really well. I'm surprised. Tasks that I didn't have time for in the past, I actually have time for now.
