HuRU Crew Check-In: Generations in the House 🔥
One of the coolest things about this community? We’ve got multiple generations building, growing, and learning together. Different eras. Different tools. Same drive to build a life and business that actually feels good. Here’s what each generation brings to the table: 💿 Boomers (1946–1964) 🔹Wisdom, experience, and long-game thinking 🔹Work ethic forged before shortcuts existed 🔹Perspective that reminds us: this too shall pass 📼 Gen X (1965–1980) 🔸Adaptable, independent, and quietly resilient 🔸Analog roots + digital survival skills 🔸Masters of “figure it out and keep moving” 💻 Millennials (1981–1996) 🔹Purpose-driven, collaborative, and values-focused 🔹Builders of online communities and digital brands 🔹Proof that work can align with meaning 📱 Gen Z (1997–2012) 🔸Bold, creative, and unapologetically authentic 🔸Native to tech, trends, and rapid iteration 🔸Challenging old rules and rewriting what success looks like 🔹Curious, fast-learning, and wildly creative 🔹Growing up with AI, touchscreens, and infinite possibility 🔹The future builders watching us right now 👀🚀 Different generations. Different strengths. One Crew. 👇 JUMP IN THE POLL Which generation do you represent? Then drop: 🎬A GIF 📣 OR your favorite battle cry that perfectly represents your generation’s energy. Bonus points if it makes us laugh 😄🔥

Let’s talk about fulfillment.
The other day I was asked why my word for 2026 is FULFILLMENT So let's talk about it... Here's what fulfillment is not: Not the highlight reel. Not the checklist. Not the “I did the thing” moment. Achievement isn’t that hard. We achieve stuff all the time. We hit goals. We close deals. We finish projects. We stay busy. But fulfillment is different. Fulfillment is deeper. Less about what you did and more about who you’re becoming while doing it. It shows up when your work feels aligned. When your business actually reflects your values. When your relationships energize instead of drain you. When your hobbies aren’t just escapes, but expressions of who you are. Here’s the truth we don’t say enough: When we say “I want to accomplish this” or “I’ll be happy when...” What we’re really saying is: “I want to feel fulfilled.” Achievement is external. Fulfillment is internal. One can be measured. The other has to be felt. And the wild part is... You can achieve a LOT... and still feel empty. But when you’re fulfilled, achievement becomes a byproduct—not the point. HuRU Crew question to sit with (no need to answer publicly): 👉 Where are you chasing achievement, when what you really want is fulfillment? Because doing more isn’t the answer. Living more aligned might be. 🧡💙
Let’s talk about fulfillment.

Thanks for the share! Something I've been thinking about a lot lately as well. If the goal is "fulfillment," we may be listening to the wrong people and "influencers" online. Because I think the world is filled with a bunch of wounded kids, and oftentimes its the most wounded who will literally just WORK and become "successful" (by external means) to prove to the world they are SOMETHING. This does not come with "fulfillment" it seems. Appreciated a very "successful" content creator who shared a video on this topic: https://www.instagram.com/p/DTb2DtJDHpW/

I sometimes also wonder if the person we all look up to on Skool (Alex Hormozi) is genuinely fulfilled.
The HuRU Network
Let’s talk about networks — not the awkward, business-card-shuffle kind... but the real kind. The kind built on conversations, curiosity, and actually giving a damn. This season, we’re being intentional about who we surround ourselves with and how we show up. Because growth doesn’t happen in isolation. Opportunities don’t come from algorithms alone. And momentum is almost always borrowed before it’s built. Your next breakthrough might not come from what you know... but who you know — or who knows you because you served them well. So instead of asking, “Who can help me? ”What if we asked: 👉 Who can I help? 👉 Who needs what I already know? 👉 Who would benefit from a real conversation right now? That’s how real networks are built. Not transactional. Intentional. Human. HuRU. CTA 👇 Drop a comment and tell us one of these: 🔹How are you intentionally building your network right now? 🔸Who do you need to meet this year? 🔹OR… who are you looking to serve, support, or connect with next? Tell us: Hu R U? and What do U do? Let’s build bridges, not just contact lists. 💥

I think focusing more on service and realizing where I am in relation to others. I may not be at the peak of the mountain and will never be; however, I am certainly 1,2,3 steps ahead than a bunch of people and could help them. Less complaining, more gratitude regardless of situations if things are amazing or completely suck. Genuine connection and communicating with purpose.

Inspired by Brennan's 12 days of Christmas Post!
Let’s have some fun!! 🤩 I asked ChatGPT to sum up my year to the 12 days of Christmas and this is what it gave me! Give it a whirl and let me know what yours says!! 🎄 On the 12 Days of Christmas, This Year Gave to Me… 12 brave moments of choosing yourself Even when it felt uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or scary—you showed up for you. 11 honest conversations Hard talks, boundary-setting, truth-telling, and moments where your voice finally mattered. 10 lessons in letting go Of guilt, old roles, people-pleasing, and versions of yourself that no longer fit. 9 levels of growth unlocked Personally, emotionally, spiritually, and through the communities you built and nurtured. 8 weeks of deep healing work Exploring narcissistic dynamics, self-worth, and reclaiming your identity—layer by layer. 7 days a week of showing up For your kids, your students, your communities, and still learning to show up for yourself too. 6 moments of clarity Where the fog lifted and you could finally see what you don’t want—and what you deeply do. 5 core values grounding you Integrity. Authenticity. Compassion. Courage. Connection. (And you actually lived them.) 4 safe spaces created Where moms, parents, and hurting hearts felt seen, understood, and less alone. 3 big leaps of faith In your voice, your work, your calling—and trusting that you’re being guided. 2 versions of you reconciled The strong survivor and the soft, healing woman learning to rest and receive. 1 powerful truth reclaimed ✨ You are enough—and always have been. ✨
