How did you learn to be a man?
When I was a teenager, I didn’t know that my body was transforming in ways that would shape me as a man. Unfortunately, I grew into becoming a wounded man. No connection with my father except through fighting. Being bullied at school. Sex ed that depicted men as perverts. No connection to my inner drive and purpose. I became a very toxic man even though I wanted to do good. I lost many years and developed habits that led me to lose my power. For over a decade I was a criminal, addicted to drugs and drama. I felt powerful, but that power wasn’t founded on anything stable. A decade after changing my life, I have learned ways to harness my power in more meaningful ways. Yet I still notice I leak my energy into old thinking patterns. I’ve created this community because I came a long way from some of the darkest places in the world to learn how we can use our power in service of ourselves and our communities. The questions we need to ask ourselves are:How did we become men?Was it from a place of wounding or from conscious architecture? The answers you find will help you see how you can regain your power. To make it easier, Join me next Thursday at 8pm CET for our first Olympian meeting.

@Asha Hope I like this! We know from developmental research that we learn to understand words through schemas—a thing with legs and a flat surface on top, where I can put things, is a table. So, anything that fits this description or definiton becomes a table. The mind is always judging every bit of information we perceive, labeling, interpreting, and reflecting it upon ourselves. However, hereby we are limiting ourselves, because we can only know about things for which we already have a schema. I suppose that the Dunning-Kruger effect is somehow related to this idea—the “sweet spot,” where we are too ignorant to see beyond our own schemas.

@Asha Hope Yeah - I love it when words carry a distinct etymological meaning that tells so much about what the word in its depth
Hello to you all fellow journeymen!
After having a wonderful and fruitful conversation with @Asha Hope I decided to join his community and help out by sharing knowledge and wisdom that I have as well as learn from everyone here that is on a similar journey to me. - What is the story that shaped you - I've been a combat athlete my whole life and I used it to cover up my suppressed emotions by punching people in the face and throwing them around in training. When I moved abroad to study this outlet was gone and I went deep into depression and drug addiction making life very difficult for me but, at the same time, putting me on a path of greater good. It's due to this hardship and a culmination of other things that lead me to realise how important our emotions are and how strongly their control.our experience of life. - Who are you now? - now I'm a journeyman that is walking the talk. I always speak about how important it is to understand ourselves and why we react to life the way we do, we blame everything outside of us for the way we feel and why we are blind to the fact that we can control how we feel about life as opposed to life controlling us. This is exactly what I teach as a coach through a multitude of practice such as specific meditations, journaling prompts and shadow work. - What is the World you want to build - I want to build a world of connection and community that moves us away from the reliance on highly controlled sources of wellbeing to a state where we are in control of what we use for sustenance, energy and wellbeing. I want to create a world of higher consciousness where everyone is there to support eachother as opposed to just ourselves without a care for anyone else. - What are you looking for in this community? - I'm looking to connect with like-minded people that are waking the same path. One of exponential growth and one of support through community and connection.

@Ailandas Sulcas I really like that! What you describe here is some form of identity building right? You identify your current identity, you identify what the ideal is, the person wants to become right now (this may change along the process) and then you make the first move. As an exercise scientist this is exactly the logic how I approach my work (not via meditation and self reflexion, because I have the advantage of being able to work with objective metrics - time/strength/hight...). So let's say my goal is participating at the european championship in 100m sprint and I know that the time to qualify for this is (idk) 10.5 seconds. I know where I want to be. I need 11s for 100m - this is where I'm right now. And now I have to build a roadmap to get from 11s to 10.5s. To build this roadmap First: I need to figure out what the milestones inbetween are (in exercise science we call these meso-goals or meso-cycles), e.g. increasing the strength in my legs, improving my technique, improving some metabolic properties. Second: I have to consider how are these things related to each other and if they are building upon each other. E.g. I need to improve strength first, because then my neuromuscular system is able to learn to utilize the new strength by integrating this into the technical stuff Third: Now I have to think about the micro goals/cycles - what happens within the meso cycles, which micro goals am I focussing on which will tell me if I'm actually progressing on my journey Does this resonate with you?

@Ailandas Sulcas Exactly! There are two possibilities to apporach problems in life, eiher systematically and disecting the path step by step and maximizing the probability of success or chaotic and hoping for the best.
Our challenge for the end of the year! And become unstoppable in 2026!!
I want to thank you all for being the founding members. It’s been a week I’ve accepted you as members and some of you have already started engaging and connecting. Special shoutout for you guys to be on the leaderboard: 1. @Maximilian Köppel — 25 pts 2. @Adedayo Adeyemi 🔥 20 pts 3. @Melvin Zhang — 13 pts 4. @Lukas Kulbis 🔥 9 pts 5. @Brian Diep 🔥 5 pts 6. @Andrea Petrucci Fiori 🔥 4 pts 7. @Lucas Oliveira 🔥 3 pts 8. @Mark X 🔥 3 pts 9. @Ailandas Sulcas — 2 pts The key to becoming unstoppable in life is TRUST. Trust, compared to confidence, brings us a new level of power. Confidence is knowing you have skills and you can rely on them. Trust is the ability to overcome obstacles even when we don’t know how to prepare. Trust makes us truly unstoppable. Trust is made easier when we have a solid foundation we can rely on. Because we can’t predict everything, we need to build these foundations in ourselves and in our community. This is why I invite you to get on calls with your brothers and build trust with each other. Once you have been on a call and got to know each other, Create a post and share what you have learned about your brother. Title: I met a Brother called: (their name) Share what you loved about them in your exchanges, Especially these 3 main things: - What do you admire about them? - What is their strength? - How do you know you can rely on them? Once you have done this, find another brother and connect with them. Your goal is to connect with at least 3 brothers and post about them. Thank you.
Our challenge for the end of the year! And become unstoppable in 2026!!

@Des Cooke Hi Des, sounds really interesting. I think one if not the most important pillars for self actualization is our identity. Which is defined by our values and behaviors. So whatever one wants to achieve in life, it will always has something to do not only with behavior but with behavior change (Because otherwise the person would already have the required or desired persona). So what you are doing is increadibly valuable for every human being who has not degenerated in mediocrity... Looking forward to learn from you and your experiences!

Hey y'all! Born in Chicago, currently based in Ecuador, I'm on a mission to help the world breathe better. - What is the story that shaped you? As a Lithuanian who is fascinated by symbols and mythology, the "legend of the iron wolf" has been very core to my becoming. In it, the Grand Duke of Lithuanian, Gediminas (A.D. 1300s), had a dream of an iron wolf howling with the voice of thousands of his kind. He went to many wise men, and finally one was able to interpret it - stating that Gediminas was called to build a grand city, whos impact would resound across the land. Unable to build it himself, he sent invitations to artisans and craftsmen across all the land - promising them safety and an opportunity to build something greater than themselves. He built the city, and set the foundation for the largest empire in Europe in its time. This story really speaks to me because it is connected to my heritage, it is inspired by a trust in the call, and it invites others to collaborate on something larger than ourselves. - Who are you now? "I am that I am" as I always have been. I fill many roles - as a partner, a son, a friend, a creator, an entrepreneur. My working hours are mostly designated to guiding entrepreneurs through transformational experiences - to help them achieve their #1 business milestone without burning out, while embodying what they are capable of. I also run a boutique eco lodge on the coast of Ecuador and am the host of the Coherence Skool community - bringing a billion people to breathe in synchronicity to raise collective consciousness. - What is the World you want to build? I am committed to a world of connection - with each other, with the Divine, with the environment around us, within ourselves. I want to build a world in which humans live in harmony with nature, one in which my children will be able to breathe clean air, drink fresh water, and play in ancient forests. I want to build a world of community, recognizing that we are all aboard our shared space ship called Pachamama.
Greetings My Fellow Breathas
