I had my first cold contact client meeting last week!
After calling local business I was really lucky and managed to book a client meeting and it went really really well. Currently waiting for the clients decision if this simple website is a fit for the business. Wish me luck! I will share the full project, once its finished.

@Karim Laib In Germany we have investment/investors insights for businesses and the business owners are mentioned most of the time. I called and asked for "Thomas" (his first name) without saying who I am to make it appear self-evident that I know him already. Not an issue at all but thats the easiest way to reach them. Then once you got them on the phone, continue with your cold calling script :) hope this helps!

@Niko Buzi It will be!
Do you search for national and international clients, and why?
I still haven't decided if I want to work for national clients only or approach the huge pool of international ones. What are the things to look out for when working internationally? Pros, Cons, Risks?

@Amey Somade Higher pay is definitely a factor for the niche I will go into. Diverse projects is not really a given, but the customers will be. The niche is very stubborn and outdated, sometimes don't even have digital processes. Searching for national facebook groups is useless for example, while I find ones in GB with 20k members. I won't go around the globe for now, where cultural differences become a huge factor. I will start small with maybe GB and then expand on the go :) Thanks for the comment Amey!

@David Theriault This will be easy for now since I categorise as a so called "Kleinunternehmer" in Germany, so tax implications are simplified on my end and mostly handled by the client/the country the client's customers are situated. Thanks for the comment! I would appreciate a like, to help me level up faster :)
Home Improvement Niche
Hey guys! We're going with the home improvement niche. Anyone here in the same niche or know someone who is? I'd love to connect with you

@Amey Somade Great advice, works for anything that improves a visual product or service!
Rate my Client Website
Alright, this is my 4th client that I was able to land. It is an affiliated marketing website for silly products. I had the freedom to come up with the design and code it all. I have the landing page, some categories, some blogs. Shooting for as much SEO as possible. Wanted to share and get feedback from everyone. The client absolutely loves it and a couple other people but I want honest feedback. It has its own admin panel to add products and blogs as well as other small things. Much appreciated for the feedback! https://www.lootdumpster.com/

Looks very clean! Purpoe as accent color stands out really well. I think you could have gone for a less serious and more playful style. It's hilarious gift ideas, not a shop to buy house supplies πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚ I really like the structure!

@Angel Roman Makes sense to play it safe sometimes. No worries, it looks trustworthy!
