Skool Stories featuring Andrew Kirby and Claire Quinn
Skool Stories is back on the Skool Stories YouTube channel and this return episode sets the tone for what is coming next. @Matthew Thompson and Evelyn Weiss sit down with Andrew Kirby and Claire Quinn to walk through how Skool started for them, what happened before Skool even existed, and how they ended up working at Skool today. Andrew talks about starting as a customer in Sam Ovens’ previous company and mastermind, watching Sam pivot to Skool, and investing when nobody really knew what Skool was yet. He explains how he ended up as one of the first investors, launched the first free Skool community for “synthesizers” who love to learn and teach, and later helped big creators bring their people into Skool. He walks through the full Hamza story from the original “why self improvement YouTubers are lying to you” video, to Hamza using his dopamine detox Reddit to get early subscribers, to the Loom plan that helped Hamza go from about twenty thousand a month to two hundred thousand a month in roughly thirty days with a Skool launch. Claire talks about starting as a nurse in a major trauma unit during covid, getting pushed into full responsibility early, and eventually hitting a point where she could not keep going at that pace. She explains how she moved into online work, took a Twitter job with Tiago Forte, helped launch Building a Second Brain, and then over time found her place at Skool as executive assistant, quietly running a lot of the details behind events and day to day operations. What makes this episode special is how candid it is. You get to see the messy middle. The unexpected turns. The exact moments where their lives and Skool crossed paths in a way neither of them planned. If you want a true inside look at Skool’s rise and what is coming next for creators, members, and the platform itself, you will want to watch this entire episode from start to finish.

Matthew’s Skool Growth Strategy: 7 Day Free Trials and Affiliates
Just posted the replay and this might be the most practical Skool growth system you will see… that anyone can do. Yes, even brand new beginners. @Matthew Thompson shared how he built a very engaged community using a 7 day free trial, a simple affiliate model, and no social media or content creation. He is currently ranked number two in the Skool Games for his category and earned the Star badge as one of the top one percent of creators on the platform. This strategy is perfect if you • Do not have a big audience • Do not want to be online all day • Want something simple that still scales You will see how Matthew • Created a 7 day challenge that actually converts • Turned new members into referrers without asking • Designed an onboarding flow that keeps people active and engaged • Built a trust loop that grows the community on its own If you are curious what it actually feels like to be inside this kind of Skool experience, now is the perfect time to jump in and see it from the inside. If you know the Alex Hormozi pitch, it’s the same energy here. You can make an educated decision from the inside. No pressure, just results. Plus, you get to be a part of the mission Matthew talked about in the video and also see if this is a money model you want to give a shot. Just by doing the 7 day free trial. 👉 Click here to join the free 7-day challenge 👈 🎁 Matthew has also agreed to host a private call for us on the topic of eliminating distraction while working. This is only for people who join using this link in the next 24 hours. He usually only shares this inside his $10k/year mastermind. 🎁🎁 For anyone that joins with this link in the next 24 hours and does all 7 day check in posts inside the community, I will be doing my own Matthew Thompson style spin the wheel giveaway for $100! Plus, everyone that does the full 7 days will also get a code for the Alex Hormozi $100M Money Model book (shipping excluded), because I believe Matthew’s money model is something everyone here could implement. (Whether or not you stay in the community.)

Gained 68 Days Back & Improved My Skool Strategy
In 14 days I cut 4.5 hours a day of screen time. 😳 That equals 68 days a year of freedom back. 🎉 I did the math to see how much this meant I gained back vs losing by taking those hours x my hourly rate... let me ask you this: How much is your time worth an hour? How much are you losing daily? For me, it was a LOT! What stood out to me was not just my personal results, but how this challenge activated people. A healthy 7 day free trial gets members moving right away, and the way Matthew set up the longer challenge kept them posting, checking in, and staying consistent. It showed me how the right structure can carry people far beyond the free trial. After the trial is over, the weekly giveaways kick in. Every check in counts as an entry, which means daily engagement is built into the design. It is simple, but it works, and it is something I plan to adapt for my own upcoming community. In about 12 hours we are going to have a live call to go over it with Matthew and hear his mission with his community. 🔴 Creating A 7 Day Free Trial | Monday, September 15 at 11am CST (Zoom link has been added!) @Matthew Thompson will share how he set this up, why the 7 day free trial works, and how you can use the same structure to boost activation and retention inside your own Skool community. You will see how to turn a 7 day free trial into 90 day and beyond success by transforming lives before anyone pays and fueling long term community growth. 🚀 This is the type of strategy you can study and model for your own community, while also benefiting from it as you participate. Who is coming to the call?

The Return of a Major Skool Legend 🚀
This is the moment a lot of people have been waiting for.. & you don't want to miss it! @Matthew Thompson, the man behind the Skool Stories Podcast that spotlighted the best lessons from top Skool builders, is back on Skool!! If you do not know him yet, here is why this matters.. He is launching a community that can change lives while also giving you a front row seat to how a successful Skool launch is built using the 7 Day Free Trial! His new community, The Screen Time Challenge, is designed to help you reclaim one month a year from screens in just 15 minutes a day. The first 7 days are free and if you finish, you are automatically entered into a $1,000 giveaway! 🎁 After that you can keep building momentum inside the community. 🧙‍♂️ The real magic is how he has set it up. This is a textbook example of how to structure a sticky challenge and grow it fully through Affiliates! This is another thing you should be paying attention to as you're either building your own community or supporting one. Now, I wouldn't be sharing this with you, unless I believed in the community and in the 7 day challenge itself. I have gone through 6 days already and seen a huge change for myself and for others going through it. The way Matthew has set up each day with his structure.. it's majorly impressive and very doable for many on the subjects they want to share with a community and succeed with! It made me realize not only does this help you get out of the constant "learning without applying" mode and start implementing, but you gain time to create something successful that you get to hands on experience. I fully believe this is the way more people should be using Skool and it needs to be studied. 🔍 I had this thought that I've paid $297 for a course before to learn how to do xyz for my business, and that's what this is like. But if I'm honest.. some of those $297 courses, I never opened or did at all. 🫣
