Hello, fellow adventure seekers! My name is Matt, and I am thrilled to share my passion for the great outdoors with you through our Outdoor Adventure Academy. Growing up, my family and I embraced the wilderness, embarking on thrilling trips that fostered my deep love for nature. Whether it’s skiing down snowy slopes, paddleboarding on tranquil lakes, kayaking through rushing rivers, or hiking and camping amidst breathtaking landscapes, the outdoors has always been my sanctuary. In addition to my personal adventures, I am proud to serve as a ski patroller, where I combine my enthusiasm for skiing with a commitment to safety and community. I also have an unyielding passion for outdoor gear, always eager to explore the latest innovations and how they enhance our adventures. Two years ago, my life took an unexpected turn when I was paralyzed from the neck down due to Guillain-Barré syndrome. This challenging journey has only deepened my appreciation for nature. The outdoors played a vital role in my recovery, inspiring me to set new adventure goals. I have now since mostly recovered and regained most of my movement.
