Accessing your unconscious mind
How do we get to those programs that cause the self-sabotage, imposter, and resistance. One answer is to bypass the critical thinking, and access the internal recording of your mind. One such way is the Betty Erickson Technique. This video below is a technique that was devised by a famous hypnotherapist's wife. The therapist was Miton Erickson who was modelled by the founders of NLP for his amazing results with solving clients' problems. Imagine being the wife of a hypnotherapist. She was a test subject for all kinds of inductions, hypnotic processes and meditations. As a result she found sometimes she was slow to get into a trance like state, and other times she was faster than her husband's hypnotic process, so she took control and developed her own style. This is called by her name, the Betty Erickson Technique. It is designed to help you as a self-hypnosis method designed to promote relaxation and personal insight, often used for stress relief and anxiety management. The Betty Erickson Technique, developed by Betty Erickson, emphasizes the use of self-hypnosis to achieve a relaxed state and facilitate personal change. This technique is particularly effective for individuals seeking to manage stress, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. It incorporates elements of mindfulness and sensory awareness to enhance the hypnotic experience. Enjoy my little reset using Betty Ericksons amazing technique. Warm regards, Matthew Tait

What is a quality you like about yourself?
Last week we spent a whirlwind 3 days in Bali. Last trip for this year. Whilst there I was inspired to do some videos on the self-concept model by Steve Andreas. One of my goto mindset models. Here is the very first part of that model to help you move forward. What is a quality you like about yourself that you a fully certain of? It could be anything. But it is something that you like. It is something that lifts your energy when you behave that way. It is something that you are certain about. Maybe you are a kind person, responsible, resilient, adaptable, flexible, loving, nurturing, calm, consistent, helpful, etc. etc. The only rule is you like this about yourself. (This is triggering your internal values system towards self esteem). This question can be very revealing in good ways and in ways we can figure out your values that are your driving force internally. Comment below your quality you like about yourself. Warm regards, Matt.

@David Small amazing clarity. Do you have anything in the future? When you anticipate or expect you will be this way (your quality)?

Try imagining likely examples of beong kind in future. Try placing 3 examples into your future timeline. Notice how it feels.

Reset Your Mind with more information
Hello Reset Roomers, I am on a 2-day trip to Auckland New Zealand, whilst here I was inspired to record this video on how quickly we judge. From the book 6 Blind Elephants, this short story from the book highlights how quickly we can judge people. And how wrong we can be when we have a very limited scope of information. When we find out more about what is happening, our perspective changes. Our emotions change. Our experience changes. The goal of this book is to encourage us to change the labels we give and to hold judgement when we have limited information about what is really going on. We can do this on our self judgement. We can become aware that we are deleting, distorting and generalizing reality out of existence. When we access more of our experiences, within the labels we give, we can start to filter life very differently. Changing our lives, our emotions and our actions. Where have you judged yourself, where you have ignored all the good things going on? Where have you judged others, where you don't really know what happened to them today that may explain their behaviour? Where can you ask better questions; to acknowledge you don't have the whole story, where you can label an experience more appropriately and more usefully. Change your scope, change your emotions. Enjoy this quick video. Warm regards, Matt. PS be sure to comment anywhere you notice you can expand your awareness using better selection of memories and labels. This will reset your loops of assumptions to more useful results.

@Michael Wood yes indeed we are doing this in our heads every day, good to be aware of when it serves us and to adjust when it does not serve us. Even better is to ask the question do I have the whole picture here? Usually we don't so good to pause and check how we might uncover a different perspective with a few simple questions (from the meta model will always reconnect us with experience).
Reset The Way Forward
When setting a goal, we need to be congruent. It needs to fit in with our life, or our life needs to fit in with it. 🌍 This is why I like the GROW model. (See free course inside the classroom tab). This video is the W part of the GROW. W = The way forward. This is where we wrap our goal around reality, and opportunity to find 🔍 a way forward to step into action 💪. Reset your actions via considering how you can take the reins of life navigating reality and opportunity. Quick video from the GROW course below. Todays question.....DO you have a way forward? Are you considering of your current reality and responsibilities? DO you believe your actions are possible? Doable? Taking micro steps creates progress. Regards, Matthew Tait.

@Michael Wood hello and great to connect with you. Yes driving interest is a new skill I am developing and leaving the gap for curiosity. It is a great reminder to keep this curiosity front of mind when putting out content. There are always mutual opportunities to explore in solving clients problems so feel free to chat. What is something you would want to reset in your life? Any problems in life that need solving is when the content we create becomes valuable to the community.

@Michael Wood that is awesome news if that is your biggest problem in life. lol. Great work. These questions are ones I will face in the future regarding email provider platforms. I look forward to hearing the logic once decided.
