Why I’m Thankful for Yeshua Ha'Mashiach “But thanks be to God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:57 There are many verses in the Bible about being thankful. Thankfulness is a characteristic which comes from the heart of every "Christian" Believer. If we aren’t being thankful we don’t feel right, and that’s because an attitude of gratitude is interwoven into our supernatural DNA. Why is this? This might shock some of you, but God is thankful! Our Creator is a thankful Person! If you look at the short lifespan of Yeshua while here on planet earth, He thanked the Father all the time. Further, the apostles thanked God in their letters–even in the midst of their deepest turmoils and stresses. We believers bleed thankfulness! We cannot deny being grateful! We can temporarily not act grateful, but the geyser from within will soon explode. It’s impossible to muffle the Spirit of God, who is in us. We always find something to be thankful for. Heck, even Paul stated that he delighted in his weaknesses–who does that? (2 Corinthians 12:10). Delight means pleasure, and everyone is thankful for pleasure. For "Christians" Believers, we find thankfulness in nearly every situation because we know who holds all situations together…our Dad. In the end, and no matter what, Dad is still in complete control and He loves us unconditionally. If I was able to add a single “fruit of the Spirit” to the list in Galatians 5:22 - 23, it would be Thankfulness. Paul reveals a list of spiritual fruit which will grow in our lives as we walk by our true selves. We will organically produce love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. He sums these virtues up with, “against such things there is no law.” Why would he say that part? Because you can’t legislate any of these traits. You can’t force someone by way of punishment to be loving, patient, or joyous. You can’t force someone to be thankful either. Thankfulness comes from within! It’s either there, or it’s not! For "Christians" Believers, we can’t get away from thankfulness, no matter what is happening in our lives, because the Spirit of God lives in us. But not only that, our own spirits have been reborn with thankful, heavenly DNA (1 John 3:9, John 3:7, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Ephesians 5:20). How can this happen? How can we be reborn of God? Only by way of Yeshua! He said so Himself: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
Thoughts after todays Ekklesia...
Just wanted to let you all know, my wife was present, all bundled up, nose dripping and coughing... allergies have hit her hard this year... she should be better by Thanksgiving day but please pray for her - all the coughing makes her body sore, anyway - she said she had enjoyed the conversation, it was different. And it spurred on a distinct conversation between us on the way to a local Cuban restaurant for some Croquetas & Café con leche ... One of the worst false teachings out there is that Christians like to sin – we Don’t. Sure, the flesh might get a flash-in-the-pan thrill from sin, but moments later, the Real us sets off alarm bells. We don’t want to do anything that isn’t guided by the Holy Spirit. We truly want what God wants. Does God want to lie, cheat, and steal? No, and neither do you, and you don’t want to be legalistic either. “Then, what do I do? -How do I know what is right and wrong? - I need a list!” You really don’t. Living by a list was Old Covenant, that’s how Israel lived. Their list was “613 things to do and not do,” ten of those things were the Ten Commandments. They always looked to this directory to define sin. Now, on this side of the Cross, anything that is not of faith is sin (Romans 14:23). “Anything that is not of faith is sin?! What does that mean?!” It means anything you do or don’t do, think or don’t think, which is not led by Christ within you, is sin–but you are NOT sinful. You are a brand new sinless creation! You ARE A SAINT. (2 Corinthians 5:17). “But wait, what do I do! ... I need something to do!” Okay. I’ll give you something to do, but these two things will come naturally anyway as you just be yourself. Here they are: Believe. Love. These are the two new commandments Jesus gave to us (John 13:34, 1 John 3:23). These two commandments are not added to Moses’ 613–because the Bible says that list can’t be modified (see Deuteronomy 4:2)–instead, they’ve replaced them. These commandments are not burdensome.

Almost forgot, to finish up what I had mentioned in Ekklesia about the two different words used for "repent" in the New Covenant : Metanoeo & Metanoia ... This is an excerpt from one of those many "studies" I have compiled throughout the years... If you want the entire Study, just comment with your email, or maybe @DavidDoty can figure out a way to share files here on Skool ... although I JUST now see that there is a way to "attach" a file right here in this comment box, cool. Well, here it is ... By exposing the true standards of the Law–perfection {all-or-nothing} or bust (see Mat_5:48) –He brought people to the end of themselves so their need for grace would be exposed in even greater ways (see Rom_5:20). Why? So they would finally believe God (see Gen_15:6, Joh_6:29, Rom_3:20, Gal_2:16, Gal_3:11). “Repent toward Me. I am enough,” was the Spirit behind everything Yeshua said. “You don’t need the Law, you need Me.” The word repent has become a fighting word for a lot of English speaking people. I believe it’s because our translation of the original Greek words for repent cannot express both words properly. There are two, but English speakers only have one. Our six-letter spelling can’t unpack both Greek words accurately in how we communicate in our native tongue. This is where the crap has hit the fan. Just like so many other Greek-to-English-non-translatable-words, we’ve lumped metanoeo and metanoia into one word, repent, and said, “Voila!” As a result, a law has been created out of what should be two different Greek words: Metanoeo – Change of belief Metanoia – Change of actions and attitudes Two words, two completely different meanings, yet we have, “REPENT!” Here are the examples: Metanoeo – “I am turning from not believing that Yeshua has forgiven me to believing He has.” Metanoia – “I am going to stop that behavior and I’m going to change my attitude.” Only number one can save. Number two can be conducted by a believer or a non-believer. Number two can be used by any motivational speaker or pastor who doesn’t understand the New Covenant.

@David Doty hmm, interesting, so I guess other people are downloading from Tictok and then uploading to other platforms right now then ... because I have seen some of the more recent vids on both FB & Insta ... and I just tried again from Tictok on my FB wall and from an upload just to see ... only the UPLOAD works correctly, sharing from Tictok forces people to the Tictok site or asks them to download the App... unless NOW Tictok will just play the vid without having to Log in ... something different is happening now ... I need to try on someone elses computer ...

@David Doty just maybe a little, I thought the point was to blanket as many outlets as possible to garner "larger market share" of viewers across many demographics... imho, if you are only using 1 platform your exposure is only to those who are willing to use that platform... one can always increase exposure and market share - no matter what. And for a very small fee FB will allow you to target and multiply the exposure by age, zip code, friends of friends/followers... I would have no problem getting everything setup so you could continue doing the same way as now, but sharing the vids on multiple platforms will exponentially increases viewership... if not, the just continue the status quo. Downloading from Tictok allows for a "watermark" of the users channel - or not, just clean video, and they are .mp4 too. And most all of those mirroring services are FREE to use for a little while to get started off.
