Your WINS of the day
This is one of the tools that have such an amazing effect on people's lives. To write down your wins of the day. To celebrate your valued actions, because it shows your brain what you care about, and that you celebrate that instead of trying to fix emotions and thoughts. Every day we're going to write down our three wins of the day. You can add pictures of the things. If you went to the gym, did a meditation, hung out with your friends, or worked on your business. Any win counts. Big or small. This is the first Wins of the Day post. Comment your three wins underneath.

Wins of the day : Meditated as soon as I woke up : signed back up and went to public gym : since being in this community I’m really starting to notice how connected all my compulsions are whether it be my brain telling me to check my timer/stop my meditation short, end the work out and leave early, check instagram, i previously gave in to all these little compulsions which just enforced my brain being control instead of setting my valued actions and sticking to them regardless of what my brain throws up. Thats what this week is about for me, taking back more space!

@Mona Ouartani yeah I’m terrible with my phone at the moment. I’m working on that this week too 💪
🌱 Post your Value Garden. I'll roast it.
🔥 I want to see your Value Garden. Post it in the comments and I'll go through it with you, one by one, and tell you exactly what's working and what's quietly holding you back. Fair warning, I'll be honest with you, because that's how you actually grow. But first, in case it hasn't fully landed yet, let me tell you why this is the exercise I want you to do before anything else. ⚙️ Whatever brought you here, the OCD, the intrusive thoughts, the anxiety that has kept you inside your own four walls, the panic, the rumination that loops after everything, the overthinking, the procrastination, the fear of what everyone thinks of you, the perfectionism, it all runs on the same engine. Your brain gives you more of whatever you engage with. Every time you try to fix the feeling or get rid of the thought, you show your brain it matters, and it hands you more. ✅ So you do not get better by fighting your symptoms. You get better by showing your brain a new signal. And you do that by living your life, based on your Value Garden. 🧱 That is why this is not a side exercise or a nice bit of life planning. It is the foundation. Your Value Garden is the map of where your energy goes instead of into your head. It is the thing every other tool in here points back to. If your garden is vague or thin, your whole recovery is standing on sand. If it is clear and alive, you always know which direction to walk, no matter what your brain throws at you that day. ⚠️ Now, do not walk away thinking the Value Garden is all you need. It is not. There are many more tools and insights coming that you need to actually get better, and I will give them to you. But this is where it starts, and it becomes your map along the way. You will keep coming back to it, and everything else I teach you will make more sense once it is built. That is why I want to see it. So let's build yours until it is solid. 📸 How to post it: 1. Take a photo of your Value Garden (the paper with your seven areas and your actions) and post it as a comment below.
🌱 Post your Value Garden. I'll roast it.

@Star Taylor thanks so much mate. a lot of what you said is so true. I’m a wall and floor tiler and own my own business so do that 6 days a week which doesn’t leave me much time or energy and you’re right i do hate it, I’m looking to hopefully study teaching next year but it’s a bit tricky as I’d probably have to sell my house and struggle to afford somewhere to live around where our kids are kids currently go to school and stuff. Sorry I haven’t been able to make the calls, one is when I’m driving to/start work and I think the other is 12am, I have been keeping up with and watching replays but could definitely be more committed.
DPDR and Intrusive thoughts. Hosnia kept going for her tomorrow woman
I'm incredibly proud of our amazing member @Hosnia Qazi . She did exposure therapy, which didn't work for her, and tried so many things but never gave up. She joined our community a month ago and, even though she was suffering, brought a committed energy to the calls. Hosnia found the power of spending time outside of her head. Being present. How that gives the brain a different signal. She started practicing but... The brain didn't like it. Hosnia was not doing the safety compulsions inside of her head anymore. So the brain needed to get her attention: "Hosnia, I need you to listen," as the brain gave her more excessive thoughts. Things got worse. But Hosnia stayed resilient. Even though things got worse, she kept going. For her tomorrow woman. For her children. For her loved ones. For herself. The brain started to get the signal. 1 hour was different. Lighter. Less noise. 2 hours 3 hours! A day!! 2 days!!! Hosnia almost couldn't believe it. It's been a month. But now there's hope. And hope is so important to have. Hope to keep moving. There will still be ups and downs. But now she has developed a skill that is with her all her life. That improves her life. Hosnia, I'm proud of you! We are all proud of you! You did this! And here is something I want you all to notice. Hosnia showed up to the group coaching calls every single week. She's been adding her Wins of the Day consistently. And she applied the tools week by week. That is where a lot of this happened. Please don't read this as a comparison. Don't compare yourself with other people's results here. You don't know how long they have been practicing or what their week looks like. The only comparison that matters is you today against you before you started. Trust the process. Be coachable. Show up to the group coaching calls. And I want to say I'm so proud of so many of you. The valued actions you are doing. The territory you take up. The courage you have to move forward while accepting any emotions and thoughts.

What’s your favorite Book?
If you could recommend 1 Book to someone what would it be and why. Outside of my Emotional Fitness Book I would recommend the Surrender Experiment by Michael Singer. Especially listening to it as an audio book (Michael Singer reads it so well and I feel like he is surrendered reading it which has an effect on the audience). It helped me to understand the power of surrender and how to stop controlling life. Life has a magnificent intelligence and will support us when we let go. What is the book that helped you the most? (Or your favorite) Please add a picture of the book so we can see it. Star

@Star Taylor Hey Star, I love Micheal singer and his teachings, he sort of recommends “relaxing and releasing” but I worry it’s another compulsion sort of? Like I notice I’m ruminating - relax my body and jaw and refocus on being outside of my head/on my valued actions do you think that’s an ok process? Thanks

Hey guys, I’m 37 from Australia, My passions are: My kids, I love hanging out with them whether it be at the beach or park and kicking a ball around with them. Sports I enjoy watching and supporting my local team with friends And just writing this post has made me realise I probably need another one at the moment it is probably unfortunately trying to “fix” my self. As far as what resonates with Stars message and what brought me here, I think over all the years of fighting and struggling and trying fancy breathing techniques or meditations (I’ve tried everything) one thing rings true and is obvious to me now, when you’re not letting your brain tell you what to do and you actually get out and do something that helps your tomorrow man, you feel a hell of a lot better. I’m hoping to get to a point where I can actually be properly present for my kids, a good dad and husband and all get some peace for my self from my own mind and not wake up at 3am every morning catastrophizing about everything. I’d love to get to a stage where I can actually help people! Fun fact I have a large metal rod in my leg 😂
