Codex Code Reviews?
Has anyone else tried using codex for code reviews on pull requests? I just started playing around with it last night. Pretty cool stuff! Wondering if anyone has tried it and has any tips for a noob. Thanks!

Oh man I need to get notifications set up or something, didn't even notice your post down here. I just started using Codex a few days ago, I'm using it alongside Claude now. I'm building a smart contract backed app right now and Claude was amazing for doing reviews on the contract, finding holes in the logic and adding test coverage. I imagine Codex operates much the same. I notice with Claude that I get good results if I just ramble several sentences - kind of repeating myself on what I want it to do, adding details and repeating myself but making the prompt kind of long. Some people have luck with saying things like "You are a senior software developer with professional experience doing expert code reviews" before the prompt, to set expectations. What are you working on currently? With more detail I might be able to give better tips

@Joe DeFilippo I've had a similar experience. It really feels like being a manager of very skilled developers who are somewhat naive at times. Having them look at each other's work leads to a lot of good insights. Have you tried having it write tests for its own code? Or having it write tests before it writes any code? TDD works pretty well for smart contracts and back end stuff, it's harder for frontend work.
What kind of app would you like to see VCV vibe out on?
So as I do more vibe code demos, rather than 1 off throwaway projects, I want to be building 1 or more applications - and kind of crowd source the requirements, get members to submit PRs, do testing, become early users etc. Not sure if this poll supports multiple choices, but hit up in the comments if you don't see the option you want.

@Joe DeFilippo Right on. Software testing expertise will definitely come in handy. What kind of software projects have you worked on before?

@Joe DeFilippo Nice, so you're basically saying you've tested almost every type of software I could think of. Definitely want to hear more about how you'd approach testing the kind of software we'll be working on in VCV.
My Goals for VCV (and how you can get involved to make 🤑)
I want to quickly share with you all some of the goals I have for Vibe Code Ventures. 1️⃣ I intend to continue making videos of me doing vibe code software development - hopefully these are informative and helpful to watch on their own. I definitely want feedback so I make content that's useful for you and your goals. 2️⃣ I want to turn some of these apps into profit centers with opportunities for VCV members to contribute and gain equity and profit share. I have experience dynamic equity models that support this model and will share more later. 3️⃣ In addition to teaching how to code, I want to demonstrate Scrum-style project management with user stories, story points and sprints. This will make it easier for VCV members to create pull requests and get credit for code (ties in to number 2️⃣) This is a work in progress. Early feedback is super helpful, I'd like to hear what you want to see more of and what you're finding helpful so far. As your skills develop I want to provide ways for you to contribute code to meaningful projects that provide value and make money. Let me know your thoughts!
🗂️ Tools Index 🧰
There are so many useful tools, sites, services etc that I want to have an index of them here. If you've got a tool/site/service or similar that you find useful in your vibe code/AI powered entrepreneur journey - post it here and I'll use it to create a useful resource.
