Sebastian inspired me to do it Day #4
Yesterday morning whilst thinking about what to do I was inspired by @Sebastian Schroeder to sprinkle through some extra exercise throughout my day. He talked about how it is good to break up some of the activities into manageable chunks rather than all in one go. I can't do a lot of push-ups. If I were to try and do as many as possible in one go I would probably end up tired and wheezing on the floor by the 12th rep. What I tried to do was get 5-10 push-ups in before every work session I did. Before I knew it I did indeed make it to 50 push-ups (which was my goal) and I ended up with 70 in a day. For me that is a great win so Thank you Sebastian! What has been your wins physically in the last couple of days?
New Years Plans
The new year is coming up and with it something that I have dreaded for quite some years (but I've come to accept it better). The New Years Resolutions. Personally for a long time I have been awful at making goals, setting way too high bars (I had a goal to go to the gym for an hour everyday) and picking topics that didn't really matter to me. In this last year I have learned a lot about how to properly shape your goals through people like Ali Abdaal and others. Those however have never really been aimed at people with ADHD specifically and I have not come across that topic just yet. What are some common pitfalls that people like us with ADHD can fall into when it comes to setting goals and what are your guys favorite ways to determine what this new years focus is going to be?

@Verena Venus From this I believe it would be better for me to sit down already before new years and think about what kind of person I actually want to be. And from that I can think about what kinds of actions that kind of a person would take. That way I can become the version of me I would most likely want to be. What do you say?

Morning Coffee
More coffee thoughts. The ritual is leading to some interesting connections. Do you think business is like life, or life is like business? Let me explain. Let's say you want to achieve a life goal. You research it, invest in it (time, money, attention, energy), then you have an outcome. If it doesn't work, you drop the project, or you try again. This seems like business, or how business should be. It's all about seeking desired outcomes based on input, and you want to end up with more than you put in. Sometimes the returns are quick, and sometimes they take decades. Who are your stakeholders in life?

I believe that it's human nature to, with anything we do, take some amount of time to process, improve and more efficiently execute everything we do. Even when it comes to doing something like the dishes you'll find yourself getting better, faster and more water efficient at it.
This Sums Up My Brain Today 🧠
Anyone else feeling like they have 47 tabs open today, like in this song? https://youtu.be/-K-G0cMf9fA?si=k5If8XoiApFpxX79 Curious to know what you all do to keep yourself on track and not distracted by shiny things! How many tabs are you at today?

I've been taking the initiative to keep as little tabs open as possible this month(so only a couple of days so far). Trying to schedule my day more with dopamine stacking in mind so that all the important things get done first and leisure lights up the end of my day. How do you normally keep the distractions out?
