🙏🏾 Music Review 🙏🏾
Thanks for taking the time to join SteeleSync and review our music last week. As a part of a multiple sync communities on skool, i've not seen a reviewer start scrubbing through a track so quickly. So when that happened i have to admit i got in my feelings and was pretty annoyed, and defensive. Tough pill to swallow, but i kept my ears open to what was said. Now that i am removed from the moment and have had time to process the critique, i understand the importance of a track being "visually" appealing as a wave file. I thought i put the track through a mastering process, but in fact i had not. So the visual wave on DISCO had flat spots that looked like no music was there. The takeaway that sits with me most is the reality of how EVERYTHING about a track has to be on point for a sync rep, or music super, to commit to listening to the totality of a track. Joseph talked about this in the critique. He took the time to search the "active" spots of the wave, but truth is most reps, and sups won't even do that. They simply don't have the time. So lessons learned. 1. "Don't discount the double check." (reference intended) make sure the track has completed all processes. 2. The visual appeal of the wave file is your first impression for music professionals who are about to listen to your music. Anyway, Thanks again

World Domination
WORLD DOMINATION 🌍⚽ A Global Fusion Sync Album As sports leagues like the NFL and NBA continue to expand their global footprint—and on the heels of the world’s biggest sporting event, the FIFA World Cup—I’m developing a global fusion sync album titled World Domination. The purpose of this project is to fuse multicultural, multinational artists, production styles, and languages with stadium-ready sonics to create a versatile, high-impact body of work specifically designed for sync licensing. Think global energy, mass appeal, and flexible use across sports, brand, and broadcast placements. I will be executive producing the project and in the beginning the process of curating collaborators. My goal is to work with authentic artists, producers, and songwriters who have real cultural ties to the following regions (and beyond): Target regions include: Spain • Argentina • France • England • Brazil • Portugal • Netherlands • Belgium • Germany • Croatia • Morocco • Italy • Mexico • Japan • Senegal • Korea • Latin America • The Caribbean • Africa • Middle East Genre direction: Afrobeats / Afro-Pop Latin Pop K-Pop Global Pop Crossover / fusion sounds with strong international appeal Creative brief: Tracks should feel uplifting, energetic, confident, and celebratory, with the scale and emotion suited for global sporting moments, commercials, trailers, and broadcast syncs. If you’re interested in collaborating, reach out and I’ll add you to my list of prospective collaborators for this project. Please only inquire if you: • Can fully clear your own music (one-stop preferred) • Have experience with or a clear understanding of sync licensing • Are comfortable creating music with global, universal themes Let’s create something that truly sounds like the world coming together.
