Hello Store Owners
Spent some time going through my store today as if I were a first-time customer. Honestly, it was a little uncomfortable 😂 I found a few things that made perfect sense to me because I built the store, but probably weren't obvious to someone seeing it for the first time. That reminded me that sometimes we know our stores too well. I’m starting to think that occasionally looking at your own store like a stranger is one of the simplest ways to spot problems. Has anyone else tried doing this?

It’s easy to overlook those details when you’ve been building and managing the store yourself. I’ve found that going through the customer journey from landing on the homepage to checkout can reveal a lot, unclear messaging, weak product presentation, unnecessary steps, or small trust gaps that the owner simply doesn’t notice anymore. Sometimes a fresh perspective is all it takes to identify what’s affecting the buying experience.
What do you think is the biggest difference between a Shopify store that gets traffic and one that actually makes sales?
I'm curious because there are so many things to optimize—product selection, store design, product pages, pricing, offers, ads, and customer trust. For those who have already been through the process, what was the one change that made the biggest difference to your store? I'd love to hear what you've learned from experience.

@Madave Stead I understand that you want to warn people to be cautious, and I agree that people should always do their own research. However, publicly calling me a scammer without knowing me, my work, or having any evidence to support that accusation is unfair and misleading. If you have a genuine concern about what I do, you’re welcome to ask me directly rather than making accusations.
If finding a product that can actually sell
One thing I have learned is that a trending product doesn’t automatically mean it’s a winning product. Before testing anything, I usually look at: * Demand and current trends * Competition * Profit margin * Supplier reliability * Marketing potential What’s the biggest challenge you face when choosing products for your Shopify store?

@Marry Eleanor I completely agree. Finding a product with demand is only part of the process, knowing whether it has enough margin, reliable suppliers, and strong marketing potential is what makes the difference. I can help with product research and evaluation, including identifying products worth testing and narrowing down the ones with better potential for a Shopify store.
Be honest… would you let AI build your Shopify store?
AI can now help with product research, store design, product descriptions, images, and even the overall setup. But here’s what I’m curious about: Can AI actually build a store that looks and feels like a real brand or does it still need a human touch? I’d love to hear from anyone who has tried Storebuild.ai. What was your experience? .....Did it save you time? ......What did you still have to change manually? ....... Would you use it again for your next store? Let’s hear the real experiences — not the sales pitch.

@Jasmine Burke I think AI can definitely handle a lot of the heavy lifting when building a Shopify store, but the human touch still matters when it comes to branding, positioning, and making the store feel trustworthy. I’ve worked with Shopify stores and can help with the parts AI may not get quite right, from the store setup and product presentation to improving the overall customer experience and conversion potential.
