“Evangelization in Action —God’s Word to Every Corner of the Earth
Jesus clearly calls His disciples to take His Gospel to every corner of the earth: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” — Mark 16:15, RSV‑CE “But before the end comes, the gospel must first be preached to all nations.” — Mark 13:10, RSV‑CE “…you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8, RSV‑CE “…I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 13:47, RSV‑CE “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a witness to all the nations…” — Matthew 24:14, RSV‑CE The Word of the Lord does not return empty but accomplishes what God wills (cf. Isaiah 55:11, RSV‑CE). In our time, social media can be one of the ways the Gospel reaches the ends of the earth, as hearts witness to Christ’s love in their lives. Inspired by the Holy Spirit and this mission, we are launching the Catholic Encounter Network Retreat Scholarship Program — to help those called by God to attend a Roman Catholic retreat who may be hindered by financial barriers. As our community grows, we’ll share more resources and guidance. Why We Invite Sharing If scholarship recipients feel comfortable, we ask them — in a spirit of gratitude and evangelization — to share a short reflection on social media after their retreat. This is not about self‑promotion but about bearing witness to how Christ met them: “Let your light shine before others… and give glory to your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16, RSV‑CE “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14, RSV‑CE Sharing can: 🌟 Encourage others to say yes to retreat experiences 🌟 Help the mission grow and more souls encounter Christ 🌟 Invite support for future retreat scholarships Participation is optional and always respects privacy.
