What would you do: Application first or straight to Submission?
I shared this ‘Trick’ in yesterday’s Trick + Treat email and this will definitely have differing opinions… Personally, I like the application > approval > submission phases rather than straight to submission, for a few reasons: 1️⃣ Application gives you a chance to validate the bundle concept (if you don’t get enough applications you can then let them know it’s not going ahead, nbd right?) 2️⃣ Application gives you the opportunity to curate the bundle in a way that submission only doesn’t - even if you say you’re going to decline at submission stage, that’s kind of a bit rough for the contributor who doesn’t get in but still has had to set up everything as if they would (time = money). If you decline at application stage then the contributors are less invested and less effort has gone into preparation on their end. Plus of course you get to be very picky about who and what goes into your bundle (this matters more than perhaps you think). 3️⃣ You can skip Application for certain people. Having a 2 phased process allows you to send your pre-approved (VIP or past contributors) straight through, with a quick way to submit which makes them feel appreciated and important (read: more likely to promote). Agree with me, or think Application > Approval > Submission is a waste of time? Some people swear by the straight to submission process, and that’s great… for them. But what do you think?

I want to do the 2 step for my bundle next year because it will have a tight focus and I want to have the space to think about each submission before I start asking for all the bits and bobs to be done. As a contributor I recently filled out a straight to submission one that made me want to cry. No shade to the organiser, they have to do things the way that works for their brain – but I was in shambles by the end of it.
🤔 What would you do? Speakers not promoting Summit
Interesting conversation happening over in Bundles of Bundles on Facebook from my friend and host of the Get Serious About Sales Summit, Nadalie Bardo. She's asking what would you do if you have a speaker (but also applies to any collaboration where promoting is a requirement) who is ignoring emails from the host about doing their bit to promote and they've not promoted at all for an event that's starting next week... 👀 Would love to know... What Would You Do? 👇🏻

Thanks for opening this discussion. Really interesting. Only slightly related: Sometimes I wonder about when people with a big list are able to do a round up of all the different summits and bundles they're in. Where usually we're expected to send a standalone email. I can only assume they're in a position where they can negotiate the terms on marketing the event?

@Sasha Hutchison Good to know!
👻 Trick + Treat 🍭 Member Showcase
You might've caught this in the latest 'Weekly Transmission' of the collabortunities, I've opened up applications for a new member showcase 'bundle' that will start 1 October and go all the way through to 31 October. 🎃 All of October I'm going to send an email to my list with a Trick and a Treat 🎃 👻 The "Tricks" will be tips, based on my 30 days of tips to host a Bundle - which you might've seen inside Bundles of Bundles a few months back. 🍭 The "Treats" will be a freebie or heavily discounted product (premium gift for free/high quality freebie or a high quality product with an exclusive discount) not from me - but from you and the community inside CoLAB Club. This will be a member showcase, with a new offer shared every single day to my email list. Open to B2B AND B2C businesses. Note: Something similar to this would normally be valued at $250 for an exclusive solo email and pinned post, not to mention the eyeballs of 3500+ subscribers on your thing. This offer is exclusive to CoLAB Club, Bundle Better and Collab Better members ONLY - please do not share this form with anyone else. There is no promo requirement from your end, this is my gift to you members 🙏🏻 To contribute fill out this form and I'll be in touch with confirmations from 1 October.

@Bree Boucher Can I fill this out tomorrow when it's still the 30th my time? There's some technical stuff I have to set up with my brand new freebie before I can share a link!

@Bree Boucher I'm actually filling it in now – I'll get the link live tomorrow!
Cosmic Compass Archetypes
Who do you resonate with the most? Was this the archetype you got when you did the Cosmic Compass Quiz? I went into detail on each archetype in today's training for the Cosmic Collab Base Camp - when you know and are clear on your archetype, please share with us here on this thread. Note: In Day 2's session we will help you to match with aligned collaboration partners based on your results and we can only do that if you share your archetype here.

I'm Podcast Pavarti. I really want to launch a podcast in the next 1-2 months so this tracks. Bundle Bella is my runner up – and I do want to run a teeny bundle next year so that tracks.
Lizzy's (not Christmas) Party 👀
OK, so you might've missed this, but Lizzy aka @Elizabeth Goddard is NOT hosting her annual Christmas party this year. Instead she's hosting a bundle of $9 products at the same time as the Christmas party dates. More info here if you want to participate www.lizzysparty.com (applications open next week 👀) There's a rule that you need at least 10 sales of a $9 product by EOD 12 September to qualify to apply for the party. *I need just 3 more sales for this workshop for it to be valid to apply for Lizzy's Party* I've sold 35 at the pre-sale price of $4.99 but they don't count unfortunately... So help a girl out 🙏🏻 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ftsnJWU0sdM2LBPBxy-nTLVzhkm4vHhyFq7ViKDYz5Y/edit And if you see any of the ads running, give it some love 🙏🏻💖🙌🏻

Yeah, I followed Evelyn's Scrappy Workshop Method so I've only just raised the price of my workshop to $9. Not happening this year, but that's okay. I am OBSESSED with $9 offers so I'm going to affiliate it up!
