Tips to Get Featured - The Weekly Bulletin front cover is changing — we are now showcasing event images instead of community banners because we want to highlight the amazing events happening inside the community. - Each featured image will have a direct link to the event using the link submitted through the Google Form. - To increase your chances of appearing on the front cover, make sure your event graphic includes: - ✅ Event name - ✅ Who is hosting it - ✅ Date - ✅ Time - ✅ Time zone - ✅ Clear idea of what the event is about - AI is a fantastic tool for creating event graphics, but remember: - Avoid tiny text and small icons — people need to understand your event quickly. - Less is often more. Don’t overcrowd your design. - Make sure the important information is easy to see at first glance. - Avoid using: ❌ “Today” — because your today may be someone else’s tomorrow! ❌ “Weekly on Tuesdays” without dates — different countries are on different days. - The goal is for someone looking at the front cover to instantly think: “That’s for me — I want to know more!” - If you’re unsure whether your graphic will stand out, send it to Heather or Des and they’ll happily take a look and give feedback. - Front cover features are currently VIP member benefits only. ⭐ VIP members get: - Events included in the Weekly Bulletin - Front cover event showcases - Extra visibility for their events - VIP is currently $9/month, but pricing will increase as more features are added. 🎉 Congratulations to the first members featured on the new Weekly Bulletin front cover — we can’t wait to showcase even more amazing events!
