Detox Headaches
Quick reassurance post, dollies 💗 If you’re getting headaches, feeling a bit nauseous or “off” in the first few days of the meat/fish detox, this is very common and usually nothing to worry about. It’s not your body “failing” and it’s not something you need to push through to prove a point. The most common reasons are: • Sugar withdrawal After Christmas, your body is used to regular sugar hits. Removing them can cause headaches, fogginess and low energy for a few days. • Caffeine changes If you’ve reduced coffee or energy drinks, headaches are a classic withdrawal symptom, usually days 2–4. • Dehydration Eating cleaner and lower-carb means you lose stored water quickly. Even mild dehydration can cause headaches. • Low electrolytes Cutting processed foods also cuts sodium. Low salt can equal headaches and fatigue. • Calorie drop If you’re eating less overall without realising, your body will let you know. What helps Drink more water than you think you need Add a pinch of salt or electrolytes Make sure you’re eating enough protein and healthy fats Don’t cut caffeine too aggressively Keep movement gentle for the first few days This usually settles within a few days and you should start to feel clearer, lighter and more energised.

So reassuring that the headaches are perfectly normal ( a combo of coffee and sugar withdrawal for me) but other than that just feeling so much better for laying off the alcohol and the chocolate and I swear to god a bit lighter ….. but I’m not going near the scales til Sunday to give it a chance for a good result 🤞🏻

@Vee Fox nice to know we’re all in it together
Welcome to your Pilates Era!
Hey Dollies 💖 Welcome to our LYFE Pilates home on Skool 🫶This space is all about you showing up for yourself, in whatever season you’re in right now. Pilates isn’t about perfection, being bendy, or having it all together. It’s about consistency, connection, and giving your body the chance to get stronger, more toned over time. Some days you’ll feel powerful, some days you’ll wobble and swear quietly at me! All of it counts 😅 Use this space to • Check in • Ask questions (no such thing as a silly one) • Celebrate wins, big or tiny • Share when you’re struggling • And cheer each other on This is a community, not a competition. We move together, we support each other, and we keep coming back to the mat 💪✨ I’m so bloody glad you’re here! It would be amazing if you could introduce yourself so we know a little bit more about fabulous you! Let's Live LYFE! 💕 Claire (but you can call me Robbo) x Queen of the Mat 👑
