Father, I'm tired. Not the kind of tired that a nap fixes. The kind of tired that settles into my bones. The kind of tired that follows me from morning to night. The kind of tired that comes from carrying responsibilities that never seem to end. And Lord, the truth is... I need rest. But I don't even feel like I have time to rest. The laundry still needs to be done. The children still need me. The bills still need to be paid. The work still needs to get finished. The ministry still needs my attention. And somewhere in the middle of all of that... I'm disappearing. So tonight, I bring my exhaustion to You. Because You never asked me to carry life without You. Father, if I cannot rest physically right now, then let me rest spiritually. Quiet the pressure. Quiet the striving. Quiet the fear that everything depends on me. Because it doesn't. You are God. And I am not. Remind me that the world keeps spinning even when I pause. Remind me that You are working even when I am sleeping. Remind me that I don't have to hold everything together because You already are. Lord, restore me. Restore my mind. Restore my emotions. Restore my patience. Restore my joy. Restore the parts of me that have been pouring out for everyone else. Because lately I've been surviving... And I want to live again. I don't want to just get through the day. I want to experience Your peace in the middle of it. Your Word says You give rest to the weary. So here I am. Weary. Tired. Empty. And in need of You. Teach me that rest is not weakness. Rest is trust. Trust that You are still God while I sleep. Trust that You are still providing while I pause. Trust that You are still working while I breathe. Father, carry what I cannot. Father, I come to You with honesty. There’s a version of motherhood I imagined… A version that felt easier, smoother, more predictable. And sometimes, I grieve that. I didn’t expect the challenges. The constant redirecting. The emotional highs and lows. The extra patience it takes. And I need You to meet me in that truth. Forgive me if I’ve compared my child to others. Forgive me if I’ve felt frustration where I needed understanding. Forgive me if I’ve quietly wished for “easier.” Today, I release the child I thought I would have. And I receive the child You gave me. Fully. Without resistance. Without comparison. Without disappointment shaping my perspective. You did not make a mistake. My child is not “too much.” My child is not broken. My child is not behind. My child is designed. So give me new eyes. Help me see their wiring, not fight it. Help me understand their mind, not label it. Help me respond with wisdom, not just frustration. If they have ADHD, ODD, AUTISM or process differently teach me how to parent them specifically, not generally. Give me tools. Give me patience. Give me strategy. And Father, heal me too. Heal the exhaustion. Heal the comparison. Heal the quiet grief I didn’t want to admit. Replace it with compassion. Replace it with clarity. Replace it with confidence in how You made my child. I will not parent from disappointment. I will parent from acceptance and intention. My child will not feel like a burden in this home. They will feel seen, understood, and covered. I trust You that everything they need, You will equip me to give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, Many of us have been waiting… waiting for answers, waiting for direction, waiting for the right moment to move forward. Today we ask for discernment to recognize when the season of waiting is over. Give us wisdom to know when You are calling us to step out in faith. Help us not to stay stuck in hesitation when You are opening the door for us to move. Strengthen our trust in You so that when the time comes, we step forward with courage and obedience. Remind us that waiting is not wasted when You are preparing us. And when the moment arrives, give us the faith to move with confidence, knowing that You are guiding our steps. Today we declare: God is ordering our steps. God is preparing us for what’s next. When the time comes, we will move in faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
