I've met both Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge whilst doing their solo projects. Both very nice, genuine guys.
The album that grabbed you by the scruff of the neck when you were young
Tell us about an album that seriously got your attention when you were a teenager - and which you still dip into now and again today.

David Bowie's Live album, 1974. Earl Slick on lead guitar was a revelation for its time and the saxopho e breaks are amazing not forgetting Bowie himself. Using an old music centre i recorded all of the lead and sax breaks on to a C60 cassette. It only lasts 12 to 13 minutes but it took me 9 and a half hours to record it so it sounded like one continuous track. Nowadays you could do it with computer software in 20 to 30 minutes. I still listen to the recording as if i did it yesterday as it was done so well.
