Hello to all!
Thank you for the invitation, I'm Sharon Mason from JJX Logistics, we help businesses solve complex transport and supply chain challenges across the UK and Europe. My specialist area is Distressed Load Management supporting customers when shipments have been rejected, damaged, temperature breached or otherwise compromised. I work closely with businesses to turn potentially costly disruptions into fast, practical recovery solutions, ensuring freight is assessed, reworked, and back into the supply chain with minimal downtime. Alongside distressed loads, we can support companies with time-critical logistics, warehousing, ADR, and tailored transport solutions. I enjoy building long-term relationships and working collaboratively to find the right solution, no matter how challenging the logistics requirement. I'm always keen to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and explore opportunities.

🚪 The biggest barrier to finding great talent isn't always a lack of candidates... sometimes it's the gatekeeper. Every recruiter has been there. You call a business because you've identified someone who could genuinely add value to their team. The response? ❌ "We're not recruiting." ❌ "Send us an email." ❌ "The hiring manager isn't available." And that's often where the conversation ends. But here's the question... How many opportunities are businesses missing because conversations never reach the right person? The best hires aren't always made when there's a vacancy advertised. Sometimes they're made because someone picked up the phone at the right time, listened, and realised there was an opportunity they hadn't considered. A five-minute conversation can introduce your next top performer, solve a skills gap before it becomes a problem, or simply build a relationship for when the time is right. Gatekeepers have an important role in protecting people's time, but they can also unintentionally prevent valuable opportunities from reaching decision-makers. So here's my question for business owners and hiring managers... How do you prefer recruiters to approach you when they genuinely believe they have someone who could benefit your business? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
