Supplier No Bid Response
Hello Fam, How do you usually handle situations where an approved source declines to provide a quote? For example, I received this response: "Thank you for your inquiry. The part numbers listed below have been discontinued. Mercury Systems will be submitting a No Bid for this inquiry.

@Arnold Ntow I would move on to the next solicitation or different part.
If the Approved Source company was sold, How do you revise your bid?
I submitted a quote last year and was recently contacted by the CO regarding an amendment to the solicitation to be acknowledged with price, expiration and place of performance update. Since submitting the original bid, I was able to find a better price from another Approved Vendor for less but the approved Vendor's company was sold to this new company recently. QUESTION #1 How do I revise my bid to reflect the Approved Vendor as well as reflect that the company was sold to a new company. The new company (that purchase the approved vendor) has cage code as well. QUESTION #2 In Section B of the Amendment Document that was sent by the CO regarding the place of performance part, is anyone familiar with this? My Approved Vendor is not a Manufacturer, but a Supplier/Dealer, is their address the address I use for place of performance or is it my address? I also plan to have the item shipped out and packaged in a different location then my the supplier and my location, would that be the address I use as the place of performance. Any Help would be appreciated. @Day Cantave

@Sherron Finney If the part remains the same manufacturer, you do not need to amend anything. You can source from a different supplier for the same part.
Small Wins
I won a small bid that I submitted like 2-3 months ago. I charged the government $51 a piece while my initial quote from the vendor was $43 a piece. Instead of placing the order through their website, I went through a sales rep who I’m constantly in contact with and she gave me my updated quote and invoice for $22.50 a piece. Look at God. 🤗

You need to call VSM again that you cannot find your awarded contract. Have your contract number ready when you call them. They are very friendly and eager to help.
Inspection Point Origin
Has anyone fulfilled a solicitation with Inspection Point and Acceptance Point being Origin? What is it like especially operating the business from home?
