DAILY ROUTINE EXAMPLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 6 TO 12
I know many of you are working on building a daily routine this week. Below you will find a sample routine by the hour for children ages 6 to 12 during summer break. If you watched my video on Instagram yesterday you already know, idle time is not on the schedule. Even in the summer. Especially in the summer. Because idle time is the devil's playground and we are not renting him space in our homes. 😂 This is just an example. Adjust the times to fit your household. But keep the structure. Structure is the gift.OTHER AGE GROUPS HAVE BEEN POSTED MORNING 7:00 AM -- Wake up, PRAY , hygiene, get dressed This means: bathroom, wash face, brush teeth, hair done, clothes on. All of it. Before they come out of that room. Non negotiable. 7:30 AM -- Breakfast They help set the table and clean up after. Every day. 8:00 AM -- Morning devotional or Bible time Keep it simple. One verse. One question. One prayer. Ten minutes maximum. The goal is consistency not length. 8:15 AM -- Chore time Every child in this age group has a morning chore before anything fun begins. Make the bed. Wipe the bathroom. Take out trash. Sweep the kitchen. Whatever it is in your home -- it happens before play. Every single morning. 9:00 AM -- Learning time Summer does not mean the brain turns off. One hour of intentional learning every day. Reading (a real book, not a screen). Math practice. Writing. A workbook. An educational program. Something that keeps the mind working. 10:00 AM -- Skill building or creative time This is the hour they get to explore something they are good at or interested in. Drawing. Building. Cooking with you. Learning an instrument. A sport. A craft. Something that develops WHO they are. AFTERNOON 11:00 AM -- Outdoor time or physical activity Outside. Moving. Every day. Non negotiable. Their bodies need it and so do their emotions. 12:00 PM -- Lunch They help prepare it at this age. Even something simple. A sandwich, a salad, heating something up. Life skills are built in the kitchen.

I can’t wait to implement this with my kids starting Monday.
DAILY ROUTINE EXAMPLE FOR CHILDREN AGES 5 AND UNDER
I know many of you are working on building a daily routine this week. Below you will find a sample routine by the hour for children 5 and under during summer break. If you watched my video on Instagram yesterday you already know, idle time is not on the schedule. Even in the summer. Especially in the summer. Because idle time is the devil's playground and we are not renting him space in our homes. This is just an example. Adjust the times to fit your household. But keep the structure. Structure is the gift. OTHER AGE GROUPS WILLBE POSTED AFTE THIS POST MORNING 7:00 AM -- Wake up, potty, wash face and hands 7:15 AM -- Morning prayer cuddle or quiet time with mom or dad (this is connection time, do not skip it) 7:30 AM -- Breakfast 8:00 AM -- Get dressed, brush teeth, hair done 8:30 AM -- Morning movement (dancing, stretching, a walk outside, anything that gets the body moving) 9:00 AM -- Learning time (colors, numbers, letters, shapes, reading together, simple puzzles, flashcards) 10:00 AM -- Creative play (coloring, playdough, building blocks, pretend play) AFTERNOON 11:00 AM -- Outdoor play or sensory activity 12:00 PM -- Lunch 12:30 PM -- Quiet wind down (books, soft music, calm activity) 1:00 PM -- Nap time or rest time (even if they do not sleep, rest is required) 2:30 PM -- Wake up, snack, potty 3:00 PM -- Free play (child led, imaginative, unstructured within a safe space) 4:00 PM -- Simple life skill practice (helping set the table, picking up toys, sorting laundry, folding washcloths) 5:00 PM -- Wind down and prepare for dinner EVENING 5:30 PM -- Dinner together as a family 6:00 PM -- Bath time 6:30 PM -- Pajamas, brush teeth 6:45 PM -- Bible story or devotional (keep it short, keep it simple, make it fun) 7:00 PM -- Bedtime prayer together 7:15 PM -- In bed, lights out This routine gives your little one security, stimulation, learning, rest, and God -- all in one day. They will not remember every activity. But they will remember that their days felt safe and predictable. And that is what you are building.

Absolutely love this.
DON'T LET WORTHINESS DELAY YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Can I be transparent with you today? I have watched people good people, God-fearing people delay what God told them to do because they didn't feel ready enough. Qualified enough. Healed enough. Put together enough. God will circle back. He is patient like that. He will come back to the assignment He gave you. Days later. Months later. Sometimes years later. But when He does and you finally say yes the amount of time you wasted is going to disgust you. Not because He is condemning you. But because you will see clearly what was available the whole time while you were waiting to feel worthy. Start the business.Write the book.Leave the job.Start the job.Launch the podcast with ONE listener. God Himself will send the viewers. The customers. The readers. The audience. But He is waiting on YOU to move first. Here is the real question I want to leave you with today Am I trusting in HIS qualifications for me? Or do I need the world's idea of good enough before I try? Because the world will never tell you that you are ready. The world has a standard that moves every time you get close to it. The world will always find a reason why not yet. But God said before you were formed I knew you. I set you apart. I appointed you. He qualified you before you took your first breath. The only thing standing between you and the assignment is whether you believe Him more than you believe your insecurity. Moveeeeeeeeeeeeee. 🔥

Are you a Single...I Mean Chosen Parent?
Let's pray. Father I am coming to you specifically for the parent doing this alone. The one who wakes up every morning as the only one. The only provider. The only disciplinarian. The only one at the school meeting, the doctor's appointment, the late night cry, the homework battle, the bedtime prayer. The one who is so tired of being strong because there is no one else to be strong. God I rebuke the spirit of abandonment that has followed this parent and told them they are on their own. I rebuke the lie that says their children are at a disadvantage because one parent isn't present. I rebuke the bitterness that has been trying to take root from years of carrying what was supposed to be shared. I bind the spirit of lack financially, emotionally, spiritually. I bind the assignment of the enemy that targeted this family specifically because he knew what they would produce. Father step into every gap. Be the father to the fatherless. Be the covering where covering was removed. Be the provision where provision ran out. Be the peace where chaos moved in. I declare that this parent is not alone. The God of angel armies is in their home. His hand is on their children. His eye has never left this family. Supernaturally send help. Send community. Send resources. Send the right people at the right time. And remind this parent today.. what they are doing is holy work. It is seen. It is recorded. And it will not go unrewarded. In Jesus name. Amen.
