I’m a solo, full-time mum raising my little human with more love, strength and resilience than I ever expected to have. I work full-time in Out of Home Care, and I’m also a registered foster carer supporting kids who’ve lived through more than most adults ever will. For the past 3 years I’ve been doing in-house foster care, and for over 4 years I’ve worked with high-risk, traumatised children. My job isn’t just a job… it’s heart work. It’s healing, holding, guiding, and showing up, even on the days that feel impossibly heavy. I’ve survived a DV relationship. I’ve battled and overcome post-natal depression. I’ve had my “community” taken away and I’ve rebuilt my life from the ground up. I’m still here. Still standing. Still loving hard. Still raising my son with intention, courage and joy. Creating this community is about giving mums something they can actually relate to because at the end of the day, there’s no such thing as “knowing it all.” We figure it out together. We learn, unlearn and grow side-by-side. Real Mum Energy is my space to share it all: the truth, the growth, the messy moments, the magic, and the strength that comes from choosing yourself and your child over and over again.
