Thank you for sharing your progress so transparently, @Andrew Kuhlmann. It takes courage to do so, but I think it really helps people see and understand the reality of investing or trading in the stock market. My largest portfolio is down 35% YTD but still up 32% year-over-year (doing significantly better than the S&P 500 in that perspective). My non-margin Roth portfolio is only down 7.5% YTD and up 165% YoY. The Roth balances matter more over time than the the one in the taxable account. But I expect the large account to recover well this year, or at least improve the cost basis significantly from selling options.
