I came across this post on Reddit, and I couldn’t agree more with the author’s frustration: https://www.reddit.com/r/SunoAI/comments/1wbofwh/bye_bye_suno_im_cancelling_my_subscription/ Suno’s newer models may offer cleaner production and higher technical fidelity, but for my workflow, something important has been lost. I haven’t been able to get results from V6 that sound as good, or as interesting, as what I could create with V5.5 and earlier models. The older versions had distinct strengths and quirks. They could produce genuinely surprising music, while V6 often sounds more generic and overly polished to my ears. I understand that Suno may face legal and financial concerns surrounding the data used to train its earlier models. It makes sense that the company would want future models to be trained using properly licensed material. What I don’t understand is why that must mean removing models that paying customers already had access to. Why couldn’t Suno preserve those older models while directing all future development and training toward V6? Even if the legacy models stopped receiving updates, leaving them available would allow creators to choose the model that works best for a particular song or workflow. Replacing several useful creative tools with a single newer model is not necessarily progress. Sometimes a model’s imperfections are part of what makes it creatively valuable. For users like me, removing that choice feels less like an upgrade and more like a major step backward. I hope Suno listens to the creators who relied on these models and finds a responsible way to bring them back.

Does anybody ever get the feeling like Suno is playing us for fools? I get so frustrated to the point of anger with Suno sometimes that I start to think that things are being done intentionally just to burn credits. Anybody ever have that annoying "live audience cheering and singing along" BS that doesn't go away no matter what you do to the prompt? Or that weird crap that sounds like a 56k modem connecting to AOL? I've gotten so pissed at suno ai to the point that I have prompted the ai to go.... um.... do sexual things with its backside. (Of course it did not make a song, which I think could have been epic) Might put suno back on the shelf and go see what other platforms have to offer.

Gotta wait for 3 of them to pend. 2 albums I couldn't do cause I accidently over exceeded the time of 46 minutes (only 23 minutes a side). I'm doing it through soundcloud/elasticstage at zero money down, but there are other options such as American Vinyl Company but its expensive as hell, and Diggers Factory is also zero money down but require 100 vinyl preorders/purchases before they can be mass produced and sent out. At least they can do 1-4 vinyls for one album. But yeah, I find it best to support physical media as there is still a demand for it.

I keep having to wrap my head around the youtube subs thing. I see good numbers of views but low subs and I see other competitors in my niche with 1k plus subs in just a couple of months and I panic that I am doing something wrong. Then I remember I am not chasing the YPP and some of them are. I go look at my YouYube stats on DK and realize I'm fine. But, the low subs trip me up.

Any time I have had a haters comment on my hybrid music, it has been a low effort channel with no videos, generic name and handle, and lists of only playlists of usually music with hundreds of VPH. My blocked word filter usually catches the comment and I hit hide from channel and block them. Then I go report them to youtube. That last part is important because these channels are created as throwaway channels to troll and harrass. Reporting them may be like "spitting into the ocean" because even if it gets removed they probably have many more accounts doing the same thing. Anyway, the reason for this post is for those of you who are new or that might not have a thick skin. If you see an "ai trash" comment etc. and you go to the channel and it's 0, 1, or 2 subs with no videos, generic youtube handles like xxxxx12561 where xxxxx is a random name and they only have playlists this is a troll channel and nothing to worry about. Hit hide from channel or remove the comment and then move on. Never reply to them because they are hoping you will. They sometimes also try to reply to positive comments from your listeners. Having a good blocked words section under your channel's content moderation tab will help catch these negative ai trash/slop comments under the "held" comments under your channels community tab.
