Mixing with headphones
I end up creating a quick mix of tracks for my students and often with headphones, but when I listen back in the car, it's just not the best. (sigh). Please give me any advice possible from the type of headphones I should use to any tricks with the volume balance. I have 3 different headphones, Sony MDR-7506, DT770pro80d7 and HD280Pro.

@Noriko Wright Mine should be here in the next 30 days and then I can determine the differences but I'm pretty excited to try them. Do keep me posted on what you think. Most of the folks in this community love them.

@J Es I have a Sennheiser e 965 mic I use for acoustic shows and recording at the cabin. Works good for mobile demos.
Solution to the Chaotica Eyeball
I have been using a Chaotica Eyeball on my Shure SM7B for a vocal Mic but I've recently been gifted a UA DLX Sphere Modeling Mic. Caleb mentioned not Liking the Sound dampening of the Chaotica Eyeball. Does Any one have any recommendations they'd like to throw at me.

@Chris Vogel yeah Caleb suggested this so there's got to be something to it. Problem is I don't have that much space. The Whole room is covered in sound foam though. If I tried to pole up blankets they'd be 2' max away from the mic and 1' away from the wall but I'm going to try that first since it's the most suggested

@Ari Tiainen The mic is a modeler so I think some of the cardioid patterns have a dampener via tha software as well but if that's not doing the trick I'll Pole some blankets. I definitely appreciate the input.
Collab?
Hello everyone, I'm looking for someone who knows how to play a banjo at least a bit... I can neither play or afford one at the moment and I need it for my new song :D

@Akiva Majowka a lot of folks don't have perfect rooms myself included. Via the Mixing Intensive I just went through I know the recommendation would be OlloX1's and the realphones software they are calibrated with. I'm getting mine Jan 1st. Can't wait they are the only headphones that are tested and calibrated to the actual pair they send. Sonar Works used to do this with Sennheiser 600hd headphones but no longer offer individual headphone calibration. Having a true measured trustable monitoring system is definitely preferred the VSX system is ok but not a individually calibrated system specific to the headphones themselves and as you probably know each speaker from the same manufacturer can be slightly different.

@Filipe Pereira Thank You
Metric AB by ADPTR
Bought the METRIC AB reference plug in from ADPTR. I have registered my product via Plug in Alliance. Tried to download the plug in a few (many) times (Mac/Logic). Unable to get it activated.... ???

I have had the same problem different plugin on a Mac Studio with M1 Ultra. Had to delete and reinstall Plugin Manager and poof it worked. Might wanna try that but I'd put in a support ticket because as long as the plugin isn't activated you can get a refund should things get out of hand.
