Microsoft Cert exam
Hi all. I received a MS cert exam voucher after participating in the AI Skills Fest. The question I have is should I use the voucher to take my AZ-900 or save it for an associate/admin level or sc900/AI-901 exam? I'll take the AZ-900 regardless.

I appreciate that. I went through the AZ900 bootcamp a while ago and am now able to take the exam. I'll probably end up using the voucher for the AZ-104 exam.
Bash Beats Most Beginners
Most people trying to break into cybersecurity skip Bash entirely. 🤦‍♂️ They focus on certifications, tools, and flashy hacking labs. ⚡ Then they land in a Linux environment and realize they can't efficiently navigate, search logs, automate tasks, or troubleshoot systems. 🐧 That's a problem because Linux is everywhere in cybersecurity. 🔍 The people who understand Bash can move faster, investigate issues quicker, and automate repetitive work. ⚙️ I’ve seen beginners spend 30 minutes doing something manually that could be done with a single command. ⏳ The best part? You don't need to become a Linux wizard. 💡 You just need enough Bash to be dangerous and productive. I put together a simple guide showing the Bash skills I would focus on first and why they matter for cybersecurity careers. 📚 Comment "BASH FOR BEGINNERS" if you want the Bash guide that can make you more effective than most entry-level candidates.

BASH FOR BEGINNERS
🔥 The ePortfolio Trick That Gets Callbacks 💻
Most entry-level cyber applicants say they “know Linux.” But almost none of them can prove it. That’s why they never get the interview. If I’m a hiring manager and I see two resumes… One claims skills. The other shows a live Linux backup server project with screenshots and a write-up. Who do you think I’m calling? 📞 An ePortfolio isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing I can apply what I’ve learned. 3–5 solid technical write-ups can separate me from 90% of applicants. Most people skip this step. That’s why most people never get callbacks. Comment "PORTFOLIO" and I’ll DM you my ePortfolio blueprint.

IT Support Is a Cybersecurity Shortcut
Most people think IT support is “below” cybersecurity. That mindset keeps people stuck unemployed for months. IT support teaches the exact fundamentals most beginners are missing. Active Directory. Networking. Troubleshooting. Permissions. Tickets. Communication under pressure. That’s real-world infrastructure exposure. The hidden advantage is this: Companies trust people who already know how business systems actually work. A lot of cybersecurity beginners skip that foundation and end up with certs but no operational understanding. Starting in IT support can massively speed up your path if you use it correctly. I put together a breakdown of how to turn helpdesk into a cybersecurity launchpad. Comment "SUPPORT" and I’ll DM you The IT Support To Cybersecurity Guide.

🚫 Skipping Helpdesk Is Why You're Stuck
I see this mistake all the time 😬 Everyone says they want to skip helpdesk and go straight into cybersecurity 💻 But what they don’t realize is that mindset is exactly what keeps them stuck I used to think the same thing 🤦‍♂️ I thought helpdesk was “below me” and not worth my time But the reality is… it’s not about the role, it’s about the SKILLS you’re avoiding Most people don’t lack opportunity 🚪 They lack fundamentals like networking, troubleshooting, and systems thinking 🧠 Helpdesk forces you to build those fast ⚡ And without them, you’re guessing your way through cybersecurity So instead of skipping steps, I focused on building the right foundation 🧱 That’s what actually got me interviews and offers Comment "FOUNDATION" and I’ll DM you the roadmap I used.
