Dropping new Program this month! Playing with Pace
Hope everyone had a Happy New Year! I'm revamping & upgrading this community for 2026. I'm so excited about the new programs, live zoom calls & Point Guard mentorship I'll be offering. I've created 3 tiers that you can access depending on how serious & locked in you want to be with me. This month I'll be starting my 90 day transformation - Point Guard mentorship. I recently posted on that. Also I'll be uploading a new program "How to Play with Pace." It is such an important skill to learn for all players but especially the PG. As always send me any ideas you'd like to see this year in the comments. Would love to hear your own personal updates in a post!

OPEN GYM HOURS: How To Structure Team Practices?
Coach @Mark Jess Bernaldez asked a very good question on how to structure practices with limited time constraints Key takeaways: βœ… Break it into thirds – 30 min skills, 30 min offense/defense, 30 min scrimmage βœ… Let them play – players learn better by making mistakes, not listening to lectures βœ… Find your leaders – every team has sheep (lost players) and sheepdogs (leaders). Give them space to step up Coaches, how do you structure your practices? Drop your thoughts below! πŸ‘‡πŸ”₯

DRILL LIBRARY IS NOW IN CLASSROOM!
Over the years I've created hundred of drills for players & point guards but never organized it until now. My Drill Library is now live inside the Classroom. I just uploaded about 15 drills for you guys & will continue to add to it weekly. These are for individual, group & team settings. I focus on point guards but of course many of these apply to all positions & skillsets. I tried to break them down into sub categories, for example: ball screens, passing, defense, cutting/spacing, etc CHECK IT OUT HERE

Setting up Ball Screens vs Pressure
Here's a clip from a training session with HS guards. We're working on a side pick n roll & how to set that up. Against a strong/aggressive defender they will not let you move easily or in straight lines. You have to use some of these tactics I'm teaching: Bully ball, back pocket dribble, shuffle & zig/zag. I hope this helps some of my PGs out there, I know many struggle with these situations in half court sets, getting into ball screens & learning how to handle pressure better.
