I’m back (quick update)
Yo! I know I’ve been quiet in here the last couple of months. I promise I haven’t been ignoring you guys. Truth is, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the direction of this group and what actually helps you guys get here. For years, I’ve focused heavily on "building online businesses." And while that’s still valid, I realised something over the past year or so... Most of you don't necessarily want a new business. You just want to be in Thailand. And you want to get here by doing less, not more. So I’ve been heads-down the last 10 weeks or so building something that focuses on that side of things... Investing, leveraging what you have, and making the math work without needing to grind 14 hours a day. That brings me to this beast... It’s the ultimate "Exit Planning" software I’ve been building. You can watch the breakdown below to see exactly how it works. I’ve just opened up a handful of slots on my calendar for this month to run through these plans 1-on-1. I’m posting it in here first to give you guys first refusal before I email the main list. If you want to grab a spot, click here to book your strategy session. Also keep an eye on the Calendar tab. I’ve got some new community meetings planned, and I’ll be back on YouTube very soon with some fresh content. Good to be back. 🫡

I'm already here in SEA and then I went to Philippines and I've honestly seen how easy it is to burn through cash in the getting-used-to-how-things-work l stage. But I've managed to end up in a good position. But I'd still like to optimise more and work a lot less.
Anyone been out to Manila/Siargao?
Heading out to the Philippines at the end of the year. Curious on any recommendations on what I should do, where I should stay, or anything else with activities if anyone has ever been there!

Go to Cebu or Dumaguete is my recommendation tbh
This Time Last Year I Had Two Clients — Now I’m Moving to Thailand 😅
My social media’s finally starting to take off! 🚀 This time last year I was working fully remote with just two mental-health agencies, supporting university students online. I’d started late, with only one or two clients, slowly built up to around 20 by year-end… then everything crashed when the semester ended 😅. Fast-forward to now: I began this uni year in September with returning clients already waiting, new ones rolling in, and a new qualification to support autistic students too. I’ve since joined six more remote student-support agencies and two online counselling companies. Last month my socials hit 2.6k views — this month, halfway through, it’s already at 5k 🎉🤩 I’m now earning about double what I need to live comfortably in Thailand, all while working entirely online. It’s been unpredictable, but seeing it finally click feels amazing. I land in Thailand on 1st November to kick off the next chapter 🌴✈️ How about you guys — when did things start to click for you as a remote worker or freelancer? Was it sudden, or more of a slow burn? 😁🔥

@Clive Kingshott Noice! Sounds incredible! Mind if I message you directly?
How many hours each day are you working on your online business?
Let us know in the comments below, be truthful, unfocused busy work doesn't count.

Yesterday I woke up at 7.30am and got straight into it at 8am and finished at 11.30pm. This is not normal for me, I'm just cramming in a bunch of work in October to ensure that when I leave the UK on 31st of October and land in BKK on the 1st of November, that I have a sizeable warchest of savings to kill my money stress levels for once I'm there, rather than arriving there and immediately having to worry about making money. I'm going to working like a dog most of this month I think! Once I'm there I'm going to halve my daily hour count 😁

@Brett Dev Haha, I've experienced a lot of money worries when I had a lot less financial literacy, so now I make sure to remove that anxiety to ensure I make only make decisions from a strategic secure frame of mind, rather than feeling worried for my long term financial stability and losing sleep over it etc... But I also don't want to have so much excess savings that I have no impetus to work hard and make things happen. Perhaps we benefit from a middle ground. But clearly you've done well from your original approach, even if it was hard at first.
Language Schools Expirience?
Has anyone had any experience with attending a language skool? Pricing, how it works, etc.
