Another Winning 0dte trade set-up
I trade simple CDS (Call Debit Spreads) late in the afternoon for expiry at 4pm - 0dte. Todays trades: 42 lots on AAPL @ $0.10 profit per share = $420 20 lots on AVGO @ $0.09 profit per share = $180 27 lots on MSFT @ $0.06 profit per share = $162 12 lots on GOOGL @ $0.25 profit per share = $300 My win at 4pm this afternoon was $1,062 Not bad for 30 minutes of work and only being in the market for 60 minutes.

And so, with mechanical morning 0dte trades and afternoon sunset trades . . . Bish, Bash, Bosh, another $2000+ winning day.

Take the emotion, the nail biting, the worry out of trading and play the day mechanically. Any other type of trading (in my opinion and experience) is time consuming, chart and research intensive and almost like gambling . . . You could argue that my mechanical trades are also gambling, and I could agree - except for the fact that I have historical mathematical repeatability and probability in my corner when I take each trade. Can it be boring . . . Yes, absolutely. Can it be devoid of adrenalin . . . Yes absolutely. Is it probabilistically profitable . . . YES, ABSOLUTELY
What is your most reliable MECHANICAL Options Trade set-up ?
I love mechanical, repeating, regular, rules-based, repeatable mechanical option trading set-ups. Do you have a favorite ? Care to share ?

Who uses GEX to frame their trades and form their trade thesis ?
To understand GEX you need to understand who and what creates GEX and therefore learn what drives option prices. The MM's - Market Makers exist to create the markets in which we trade by creating liquidity. Their job is to regulate and create a neutral market to facilitate trading and maintain smooth and orderly trade executions across all the exchanges. They do that by resetting the option prices constantly. GEX - Gamma Exposure, is the measurement of option activity at all given strikes. The MM's are trying to balance the market and create a neutral GEX environment. Retail traders, like you and I, are generally trading the news, the trends and market directions. We are seeking a profit. MM's are seeking balance. We, can benefit / profit greatly by trading the markets when we recognize the imbalance in the GEX that the MM is striving all day to rebalance. So . . . are you a Delta Hedge Trader (like an MM) or a Trend Tracker ?

I never place a trade without first reviewing the GEX. You are trading blind with lagging indicators until you learn to read and understand GEX with real-time data.
What is your Broker charging you ?
Do you know, and even care, what your Broker is charging you per trade ? Once you know your "hidden trading costs" you can calculate the minimum profit you must achieve on every trade to realize a profit.
