🌱 New to all of this? Here is what to do first.
A lot of you just joined and have never posted a TikTok Shop video. Some of you do not have an affiliate account yet. You are not behind and you did not join the wrong place. Here is the honest order of operations. One. Understand the model. You do not buy inventory and you do not run a store. Brands list products with a commission attached to them. You make a video, attach the product, and if somebody buys through your video you get paid a percentage of it. That is the whole thing. No money out of your pocket. Two. Get your TikTok account into the affiliate program. This happens inside TikTok, not inside Shoppable. The requirements change and they are different depending on your country, so I am not going to quote you a number that might be wrong by the time you read this. Go into the TikTok app, look for Creator Tools and the TikTok Shop section, and see what it says for your account. If you get stuck or you get a message you do not understand, screenshot it and post it in Shoppable Help. I will look at it. Three. Start watching what is already selling. You can do this today, before you have an account, before you post anything. Open Product Finds in here and actually read the posts. What the product is, how much it is doing, how many creators are already on it. You will start seeing the pattern before you ever hit record. Four. Post your first video. It will probably not do much. That is normal and it is not a reason to quit. Put it in Video Feedback and we will tell you what to fix. What you do not need right now. A ring light. A niche picked out. A business name. An LLC. A paid tool. You also do not need Shoppable. It helps a lot once you are actually posting and you want to know what to post about, but nobody in here should be buying software before they have made a video. There are no dumb questions in this room. Post in Shoppable Help, or just say hi in Introductions and tell us where you are at.

Already doing TikTok Shop. I’m also a UGC creator and Amazon Influencer, so content creation definitely isn’t new to me. I’m ready to go big or go home with TikTok Shop. I want to understand what’s actually working, find products I can scale, and turn the sales I’m already getting into consistent income. My biggest issue is views. I’m getting sales even when some of my videos only get 20–30 views, which tells me the content can convert, but I need to figure out why TikTok isn’t pushing it further and what I need to change to scale.

We want to get to know everyone coming in here. Make your own post in the Introductions category instead of commenting on this one. That way people can welcome you and reply right on your post. Nothing crazy. Your name, your TikTok, where you are at with TikTok Shop or Trybe, what you are working on right now, and anything you are trying to figure out. Brand new or already making sales, post it in there either way. The more we all know about each other, the more useful this place gets. 👉 Make your intro here

Here’s my full TikTok rundown because I’m ready to go big or go home with this. My account has around 26K followers and my analytics have shown 232,697 total views, 5,383 profile views, 3,180 comments, 1,143 shares, and +1,894 net followers during the period I tracked. About 80% of my traffic was coming from the For You page and around 11% from search. I’ve had videos hit 48K+, 38K+, and 16K+ views, so I know my account is capable of getting reach. My content is a mix of relatable mom/medical-mom content, beauty and skincare, everyday products, UGC, and TikTok Shop. I’m a UGC creator and I work with brands on paid content, plus I’m an Amazon Influencer and TikTok Shop affiliate. Right now TikTok Shop is what I really want to figure out and scale. I’m getting sales — I had 7 sales recently — but the weird part is some of those sales are coming while my videos are only getting like 20–30 views. That’s what has me confused. Something is obviously converting, but the reach isn’t matching it. I post a LOT and I’m comfortable creating product videos, hooks, talking-head content, voiceovers, demos, problem/solution videos, beauty content, household products, mom products, and everyday finds. What I’m stuck on is figuring out what TikTok actually wants from my Shop content. I want to know what I should be looking at in my analytics, whether I’m choosing the right products, what I need to change in my videos, and how I take an account that can already get views and make sales and turn it into consistent TikTok Shop income. I’m not looking to casually play around with it anymore. I’m ready to learn the strategy, put the work in, and really scale this. My handle is @bossmkmmk
