Peace good people, Glad to be in community with like minds. I will be retiring from my current employer after 25 years coming this April. It will be a new era for me, as I have never been retired before. I look forward to gaining inspiration on investment strategies and ways to make more money. But the first thing I will do is to create a new budget that will reflect my new reality. I will admit, that creating a budget and doing a net worth calculation can reveal how much money is being wasted. Much success to you all.

2026 is the year for me to learn about money. Coming from a poor family, I always thought that money was only for rich people. I feel ready to break this cycle in my family history. I’m eager to learn this game, and I’m done with being poor. I want to know what steps to take to start investing. I already have my retirement plan with Fidelity. What are your recommendations?
