The moment of Clue 2 has arrived!
I am absolutely blown away by how many of you are joining in this year! We’ve already seen 231 finished versions of Clue 1 posted, and 10 of you have even done two versions!! I’m so incredibly grateful and humbled that you’re sharing this journey with me, it’s honestly the best reward. I hope you’re having as much fun as I am! ❤️ I know you’re all eager to see what Clue 2 has in store, and I think you’re going to find it really intriguing. If you’ve already bought the pattern, check your inbox for an update notification, then refresh your Ravelry library to download the new Clue 2 file. If you haven't joined yet, you can still grab the pattern here. I’ve also added a couple of tutorials for this clue over on Skool! Just head to the Classroom tab to find the Rujuu course. I can’t wait to see your progress and how your colours continue to come together! 🤩

@Hrund Gautadottir Stunning, love the colour choices together!!
It's time. Go get your Clue 1!
I’m so excited that for most of you, this will be your first steek! Eek! I love how brave you all are, and I really hope your trust in me pays off. The best part is, we've got a bunch of experienced steekers who can help us through this with moral support! But we don't need to worry about all that yet. Today we focus on the first clue. It's been a bit of a wait but it's officially out! If you have already purchased the pattern, check your inbox for a notification about the pattern update, then refresh your Ravelry library to download the newly added Clue 1 file. If not, you can still grab it here. There’s also a few tutorials waiting for you here on Skool! Just head over to the Classroom tab and find the Rujuu course. Let the fun begin! I can’t wait to see all your amazing projects! P.S. A little note on spoilers! To keep things simple and fun for everyone this year, we won't be using spoiler photo covers or separate clue threads. This means you'll likely see WIP photos out in the open as each clue is released. If you're starting a bit later and want to keep the surprise, it might be best to hop back on here only when you're ready to see the images.

@Angel Fitzgerald I always try to weave in my ends as I go along, so much nicer than looking at all that work when you are finished. I also tend to block my sweater 2 or 3 times as I am going along to check garment length/width and sleeve length before doing my ribbing, and then the ends don’t get in the way or start to fray.

@Janice Ruffner I did not watch the video, I followed the chart as written and I believe it came out the way it was supposed to
The Mystery Yokealong is back!
Our Mystery KAL is officially back for year three! We’re knitting a top-down round yoke sweater (or a steeked cardigan) together over seven weekly clues, kicking off on January 16th. This year, we’re leaning into stash-busting, so feel free to start hunting through your yarn collection now. You can get all the details on the Ravelry pattern page or here on Skool in the dedicated Classroom where I’ll also be posting all the relevant video tutorials as clues become available. We’d love for you to jump in and share your yarn picks, questions, and progress photos. Just use the "MYAL 2026" category for your posts. Heads up: we aren’t doing spoiler alerts this time, so feel free to post away in whatever way you like just as long as it is in that category! I can’t wait to see what you all come up with this year.

@Gina James Thanks Gina, I am excited to get working on the project (the excitement you feel when the colour combo appears that it will work well together). It is more of a challenge for me when I have to trust the process since I don’t have the design in front of me. It is so much fun doing the Mystery Knit and see how it all comes together over the weeks as the clues are released!!
And that’s a wrap for MYAL 2025!
Thanks so much to everyone who joined the Live Fashion Show! It was amazing hearing your stories and seeing all your awesome projects. If you missed it, here’s the recording so you can catch up! Most of you said you’d love to do this again, so it’s definitely looking like it’ll happen. 😍 The only question now is about the yarn weight. I know the group might be a bit biased since you just finished a fingering weight sweater, but let’s hear what you think anyway—what should next year’s MYAL yarn weight be? 🤔 Share your thoughts in the comments if you have strong opinions about a specific weight and the reasons behind it! 🙏

My personal preference is fingering weight or sport weight, but would also make a DK weight project. Ultimately it is your sweater design and you should choose what you like!! and most of us will make it no matter what…lol!! I also wanted to mention how appreciative I am of how organized you are for this and test knitting, I really enjoy your classroom feature for a quick refresher/reference.
MYAL 2025 FOs
As has been suggested, it would be great to have one thread where people can show off their finished sweaters!! Let this be the thread and I look forward to seeing all the gorgeous versions in one place ❤️ Also, if you can state the yarn brand & colourway you used, it might help others choosing combinations for their future projects. 🙏

@Buket Yengulalp I stopped on Row 24 of chart, did some alterations to bring the squares to a point and put a 3x3 box in the centre above where the squares come to meet at a point
