Since working on the things I believe God has entrusted to me, one thing that I’m learning is to give myself grace! This week, after creating a website that I had put much work into to collaborate with some other women, just to realize we were in various seasons of our lives, I decided to recreate a different website using a different platform. I keep hearing God say, “Be ready so you don’t have to get ready!” I know what I am trusting and believing God for so I am determined to give Him all I have, to work with! But this week, I kept running into some obstacles that I hadn’t experienced before. It was really upsetting and frustrating me. There were times I just sat at my desk and cried. There were also times I had to just step away, take a break and get back to it. Regardless of the obstacles, I was determined to get this task done because as you are building you, your business and your brand, I’m learning mistakes will be made! But not so we can quit, but so we can learn the lesson and grow. This new platform is way more cost efficient and offers a lot of features the other didn’t have or if they did, it was extra and God is teaching me to be a better steward over the things he’s blessed me with! For those of you who are building you, your business and/or your brand, I just want you to be encouraged! You are not alone!!! Don’t despise the mistake! Change your perspective and see it as a lesson to be learned.

I remember the days sitting in my room saying to God, “Why don’t I get invited?”. And He quietly whispered back…”Create your own space.” It wasn’t a shout! It wasn’t loud! But the same tug I have felt in my heart to encourage women all these years, I had a new tug. This one is about creating space. Not just space to create a room to be behind the screen of a camera. Not just a space giving women the opportunity to read posts and see a pretty picture. But a physical space! For women who were sitting at home feeling like I felt. Women who were waiting to be invited! This is what today is for me! And as I prayed and prepared myself mentally for the last couple weeks, the thoughts of “What if no one shows up?” and “Just cancel it!” kept coming up. But I’m so proud of me for my fight, tenacity and resilience! Like I tell them on my Lives Mon-Fri, I am commanding my day and not allowing it to command me! Thank you Lord for blessing me to create this space and all the ones in the future. Use it as a space where women can come and feel seen, heard and loved. Wherever we go and whatever we do, please bless us to know…when we walk in, Your Spirit is Already In the Room! It is waiting to give another woman hope! It is waiting to give another woman help! It is waiting to give another woman healing! So thank You for the lists of things and rooms You have given me to give women an opportunity to come and enter. These establishments will never be the same!
