Thought I’d share a little overview of tonight’s lesson. 🎥If anyone’s interested in further explanation on how to properly teach your horse headwork while riding (and on the ground), there will be a video up for riding (in english, french are coming soon!) by this Friday : Nov. 7th (Keep checking the classroom, a lot is coming!) ✍🏻 Little reminder to keep those good habits and write down those lessons, if you haven’t yet started, don’t worry, better late than never!

We finally got our first training video up and going in the classroom! This exercise should keep you guys busy for literally a year for it to be deemed acquired on a horse! Seriously!! The benefits outweigh how “boring” and “repetitive” this is, especially when you think in terms of topline, level headedness and just overall comfort for your horse. Try it out and feel free to post a video on here so we can see you practice and help you improve even more! Happy headwork!! 🐴

To be completely honest I really haven’t been consistent with her and she’s doing so good regardless of that! 🎥•Also filmed the hole thing, turned 13 clips, 50min long total into a short 3minute for you guys!• 🎞️With Lilly I spend most of the time on the ground, starting with: -Headwork (both sides + laterals) -Lunging -Buttons (on ground) -Wall Walk (both sides - was her first time) Random desensitization (she was not fazed) Riding🐴 -Simply walking around -Buttons (Turn on forehand) -Getting on/off 🎠Anyways went super great, enjoy the vid!
