Hi, all! I’ve been in the US this week visiting my childhood home-away-from-home, California. Aside from crying every five seconds over the waves of nostalgia, full-circle moments and the reinforcing of the realization I had years back that it is because of California that I saw myself in Spain (not to mention the southern magnolias EVERYWHERE, all along, standing guard over little me seeking refuge from the trauma I was experiencing at home). I am humbled by this trip—and this without telling you all (yet) why I was here.
